It's worth remembering that she made a comeback right away with Eve, while he was completely ostracized.
She didn't look great though, I mean health-wise. A little worse for wear. I'd like to see her back to her best, it will be a loss if she disappears. I bet these two both wish they could turn back time.

Woah. Truly thought that MDLers are more mature than that. No evidence but people are ready to cancel her. I guess…
Jtbc will have verified its source, only possibility it's false is a good forgery - but to what end? Why frame a nice, innocent girl of such a heinous past? I believe it's true. I liked her in Fight My Way - don't you wonder why her career didn't take off from there?

Your profile says you watched ~8 years of dramas. I guess you're a *lot* older than your wife if she's friends with the bully. If you aren't, I doubt you had the time to go on dates, so it's unlikely you're even married. Got any kids? Let's face it... delusional.

Right. It's a shame you tolerate the crimes of other celebs very easily though. Yoo Ah-in? Park Min-young? They're…
You're being selective. And obtuse - I've told you before that white collar crime has real victims.
I happen to be a big fan of LSK, always will be - but no way I'd go on here and condone his behaviour, I just privately acknowledged it. Hope you can see the difference in that. It's egregious the way you brush over certain things.

There's a MUST WATCH drama for all those defending bullies,it showed quite well the TRAUMA FOR LIFE bullyuing…
Right. It's a shame you tolerate the crimes of other celebs very easily though. Yoo Ah-in? Park Min-young? They're ok according to you. Why? Because they only help fund the nasty stuff that you don't like. They don't have their hands on the dagger?

As expected of MDL. Instantly denying the alleged victim's accusations and siding with the celebrity despite the…
I like your stance and agree. There's a but...

Why only school bullies, what about other criminality? White collar crime also seems acceptable on MDL. Druggies, money launderers, gangsters and the like seem to get a free reign.

Who are these MDL saints I'm thinking of...? PMY? YAI?

It takes some balls to have this in her locker and put on the celebrity facade. The girlfriend of the school bully. Even if she just sat and watched, it's despicable - but it seems she liked the lifestyle and got off on it. If this is true, she can pay the reaper - and now that she's got something to lose, I guess that covers the interest. Nice. No statute of limitations on bullying. Wonder what that boyfriend of hers is up to these days?....

I think it's safe to say that 99% of people using this site, and into Asian dramas, are not like that. One can…
Nonsense.

Read this comment section to calculate the accuracy of your 99% claim.

It's entirely in his control.

Netflix had the opportunity for what? A chance to spread the decadent American ideology to South Korea? Effectively saying fuck you to a country in which it has a vested interest? That would be business suicide, it doesn't work like that - leave that shit to idiot pop singers like the 1975 in Malaysia (who I hope encountered the full force of offending a government and large percentage of its population).

He didn't assault anyone? How do you know that? His drug supplier beat someone up yesterday. His drug addled behaviour could easily hurt plenty of people plenty, none of which you'd know about - I wonder how many accidents he's caused while DUI. The money he fed into the criminal network cost the whole population in tax money. Feeding money into the criminal network funds all sorts of other crime.

You can advocate certain criminals be let off if you want. Your reasoning doesn't make much sense "he's an actor and I like him your honour, let him off - you coward, don't waste this opportunity". Do that in your own jurisdiction to see how it works out... it's ok to let criminality run rampant in South Korea, it's far from your house?

she steals people's scripts though and has controversy for plagiarism. so I don't know if she's that good or someone…
Exactly. The concept of a paraglider sailing into North Korea and the ensuing romance is not the reason CLOY was a smash hit - and if she'd known about it and was a real plagiarist she would have sneakily made it different enough to not be an issue - she did not need to. I reckon 10000+ Koreans, north and south had a similar idea at some point.

This isn't plagiarism. The same ideas and inventions may be created simultaneously without knowledge of the other occurrences, and they are distinguishable. Some artists make wild claims of plagiarism unaware of this phenomenon, and naturally they fail - because there are tests to prove and disprove plagiarism.

Other times it's homage... take the scene in the department store where Hong Hae-in steps in to defend her employee... homage to the Kim Joo-won scene in Secret Garden.

Kwak Dong-yeon is doing a great job, not easy to get the nuance of his character, but every time he does something silly it's also a little cute and a little sad.

Is this really worth-watching?
Oh yes. The characters are beautifully drawn and all have some originality. Acting is incredible. Budget decent. Each episode is movie-length but the time flies and I wish it would go on for longer... so far the end of every episode has come too soon!
