well i wouldn't say the story is good tbh. it's bearable since the acting is holding the drama together right…
That doesn't really make sense to me. Actors shine when the material allows it. Can you name a scene or event that would have failed if not for the acting?

Where does stage direction come from, script, characters and narrative come into play? What exactly*is* acting?

It's a team effort - but if you think only the acting is keeping it afloat... it's like saying the beautiful cutlery is stopping the table from collapsing - to use an apt quote from Gong Yoo, he modestly said about Goblin that he merely placed his fork on a well laid table. Of course he did more, but his work takes place on the metaphorical table top.

Ive heard so many bad things abt queen of tears, despite its cast, so how come its rated so high??
What did you hear and from whom? Just watch it and decide if you like it, no need to listen to commenters... yes, says a commenter, the paradox begins!

Can't wait! I just hope it's not too generic, because the plot sounds like it could be if they played their cards…
That would douse my hopes, or even a naked fireman would full on extinguish them, Tomorrow was 🤢. But... the sparkle in Jung In-sun cannot be quelled, this whole cast looks good, let's hope Tomorrow has been consigned to yesterday.

Was it? Any script would make my heart race if offered a huge pile of cash to read it out to a camera - even if nobody will be watching. I bet she'd even hack someone's head off with a knife if the price was right - with a crap hair-do. Looks like the crap hair-dos are here to stay, these two look like a matching set of mantlepiece ornaments.
Just kidding, sarang-hae-yo Han Hyo-joo 🫰

Name a *drama* that's ever glorified alcohol and how it was glorified. I'll disagree with you and say no it wasn't,…
Oh by the way... changing the topic to drama again... if it wasn't for the alcohol we'd never have realised that PMY wasn't as accomplished in acting as PSJ... the drunk scene in Secretary Kim. It also shows us singular actors who take the art to a whole new level, it's in the eyes, Son Ye-jin.

I hear you, I shouldn't have said anything. I think I'm going mad, recently all I see are virtue-signalling posts about what other countries shouldn't do. Finger wagging. Not just the op but the reply that said "well [sic] have to wait [years] for them to realize how wrong that is". I'm thinking wtf?! It's neither portrayed as right or wrong, but there's always some dial tone nerd that states a supererogatory 'fact'.

The wounded party sees the person that beat them up on TV, living it large. That's why it happens. School bullies…
Right. It seems like there are two camps... the ones that regret their pasts, they own it, apologise from the heart and force themselves to overcome the shame. Then there are those that haven't changed at all... the stupid ones that cannot deal with the crises, can't accept any wrongdoing, attempt to threaten and harass their victims all over again, they go down in flames - they eventually burn all their bridges and I believe it's the industry that finally cancels them, which is why we see a 20 year gap - people like this think they can intimidate their way through their entire lives.
