I was giggling the entire time at their 'will they, won't they' and the entire courtship moments. These two overthink too much, lmao.

I just started a few days ago. As far as I've read, some events are different, and characters are slightly altered to fit the drama better. But, the essence seems the same.

Same, I can understand her circumstances, even why she did that to FL (doesn't mean she's right though). I wouldn't be able to bear it for that many years if I'm in her place either. Stuck inside the compound day in, day out, without any companion.

I based it off of recently finished airing Tencent dramas. Many of them became available on Viki after airing ended.

Good chance for Viki. iQiyi not likely imo.

Grandma gave her a lot of false hopes and tied her down all these years.

Once married, she becomes a 'Fu' family person. And, Fu family planned to earn a 4th arch for them via her. So, they kept her under strict control.

Even if she left under current condition, unless she can disappear completely, Fu family can drag her back.

Reading the novel and couldn't help but share this scene. Tho, pretty sure drama will have its own version of it.

Omg, this couple truly play off of each other. It's so entertaining to watch them scheme around. Even though still rare, when the romantic scenes do come up, it's definitely hitting the romance itches. And the relationship development between them so far is fantastic as well.

Deng Enxi truly has improved her acting skills in this drama, no longer a fixed set of expressions like before.

Got the express just to support the drama. Totally worth it. Can't wait for next episodes.
