Also, I was finding the FL looks so famaliar and it's actually the reunion of the Melody of the Golden Age couple! Her acting improves compared to before as well.

Compelling story setup and beautifully shot as well. And I know I can expect top tier delivery from Wen Zheng Rong. The rest of the supporting cast looks great as well. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

Gosh, loved both ep7 and 8 so much. Loved how laid back, effortlessly funny, and pulling at your heart strings all at the same time. Love this sibling so much <3

imo, if done right, there is nothing wrong with using a childhood connection trope. If it's thrown in just for the sake of ticking a checklist, then it's a different story.

However, it's quite relevant in this drama because it helps build Lin Zhixia's character and her fixation on Jiang Yubai.

If you are into coming of age stories, this is a good one so far. Haters plus lower viewers on MDL can skew the rating a lot.

Finished ep 6. This drama really hit home with me. For me, this is a needed break from all those recent high tempo dramas. I'm loving it's relaxed pace.

There are a lot of things I'm looking forward to in the coming episodes, not just the relationship between the main leads. The relationship between the different pairs of parents and children, siblings, and friendships. And of course, how Zhixia will grow.

Also, props to Tian Xiwei for her spot on delivery. I totally felt Zhixia's loneliness and frustrations, and cried along with her.

The drama briefly mentioned about a fallen state in one of the earlier episodes. So, I guess that plot makes it into the drama.

Yeah, they are the final arc.

I remember the plots around it, but kinda blury about Yin Qing. I remember there is that one guy who approached FL to take her away. So, wondering whether Yin Qing is that guy.

Isn't Yin Qing that guy who is from the fallen state faction?

Yan Fuzhi is the type of character I usually find somewhere between annoying and whatever.

But, she's such a sweetheart here that I couldn't bear to dislike her. lol
