Finished all 4 episodes. It was perfect so far. The games are actually really interesting and both leads are delivering it. Those who have reservations about gaming drama, this is definitely not it. The game here so far is just a medium, the real stuff is the actions and interactions of both leads within the game. The mystery are not that deep but fun, and each game session got something different to keep you hooked.
The irl plots is just starting but so far so good as well. Looking forward to how their relationship will develop.

Both of them recognize each other. She offered the umbrella because she recognized him. Just that he ignored her as he doesn't want to have private connection with players.
So how's it?? Gaming dramas aren't my favourite but I love the leads. Can't watch yet due to work.
It's very interesting. The game is actually closer to true murder mystery games as well, so no cringey stuffs there so far as well like some of those gaming dramas.
Wang Hedi could play the playful ML but I'm not sure for Meng Ziyi. Let's just wait for the drama to air and see…
I also do not think they fit these characters, at least based on the image I had while reading the novel. But, I'll keep my opinion open. I just hope they do not get an unwarranted backlash since this is a big IP.

It's especially obvious with FL's case because the drama focused on her faking a state of vulnerability which FL has never shown in the drama up until now. A person who has been killing ppl left and right since her teenage years getting scared from a bang to the table?
That's why this drama is good because nothing is as it seems and makes you think further.
