After watching today's episodes I finally I get it now why the ratings are so low. The plot doesn't seem to move,…
The rest I won't comment. But, slow burn romance shouldn't be a criticism, but a matter of personal preference.
As for me, I find the romance story where leads get together too fast without sufficient build up boring, unless the plot was focused on the events after the leads get together.
I'm back guys!!Episode 20 & 21 previews, finally we are seeing some real romantic development. MZY finally…
I had to take out my phone, scan and translate the subtitles line by line because it looks shits are finally happening and I really wanted to know what happening lol
The Black Snake is so ungrateful. He knows what dangerous thing (ink) Mei Shi bought but he doesn't care
I actually really like how it went down. A person's core doesn't change that easily, and there must be a reason why he was locked up in prison. It would have been stranger if he becomes righteous and a good guy that easily after meeting with Mei Si.
Some people are concerned that Xu Kai's role is not significant. Is that true? I've only watched 3 episodes, and…
In the current arc, the story mainly revolves around the demon world which ML has no access to yet, and he's hidding his abilities and staying low key to not arouse the demon's suspicion, picking any small clues he can find about the demons. That'll change as the story progress of course.
Imo, I would rather have this than being shoved with scenes that doesn't make sense or contribute to the main plot just for the sake of screen time, and break the flow.
Just try for yourself, story is moving at a good pace so far. Both leads have good scenes together and individually. I live for the little interactions between them, they are so cute.
he just arrived but his annoying started right away
At least he came in with a bang and both the leads noticed it right away. Didn't eat up screentime by snaking around the leads playing good guy and lying in wait for several episodes. lol
Ep12: That duel was one of the best fight scenes I've seen in a cdrama. Legit 11 minutes of pure cinematic experience. It's not just a clash of magical power like we often see, the fight choreograph itself was darn impressive. Of course, CGI and production have been great since the start of the drama and it's the same here as well.
I'd love to see it go to 1 to show how ridiculous it is. The lower it goes, the more ridiculous MDL ratings are.…
As the other person mentioned, she's not a hater and what she said actually makes sense as well.
The drama is doing really well in the mainland right now. The low MDL rating against high metrics from mainland just shows how ridiculous MDL rating can be.
If you look, the dropped rating is like 1.7 and there are over 150 people who dropped this. I can guarantee that…
In the comment section as well, shell accounts actively piggy backing each other's comment and fanning the flame. Haters are really on overdrive with this drama.
I am watching both. And my answer is it depends on what you enjoy. Sooo… what are some of your favorite dramas? If…
Try ep1 of both drama?
I tried ep1 of When Destiny Brings the Demon and it didn't draw me in that much so I left it there for now. On the other hand, Moonlit Reunion is more to my taste and finds it fresh and interesting, so I'm actively following it. It largely depends on personal preference after all.
Thinking of starting this but why are the ratings so low? 7.7? Is it good?
Haters at hard work as usual.
Better just watch a couple episodes and judge yourself. It's one of the best productions among this year's dramas and right now doing well in mainland as well.
I'm not that familiar with power hierarchy for the folklore characters like demons and spirits, this is not a genre I usually read or watch.
In ep10, it was shown that Liu Taizhen was absolutely beating the crap out of the snake that escaped. Beating in the sense like a mother or elder sister punishing an unruly child. Given her position as Snake lord, is she THE boss of all snake based demons and spirits?
If that's the case, Wu Zhen has control over all cat based demons and spirits like tigers and lions as well?
How does the power hierarchy usually go in these kind of supernatural stories?

We know for a fact that ML will pop later so no worries there.

I wouldn't be surprised if it says FL is 'sworn brother' to all the dandy in the capital. lol
