I finished watching and would love to have a private conversation (please IM me) with SOMEONE WHO DID NOT LIKE…
It's ok to have different opinion.
I loved both the novel and the drama, and noticed a couple seemingly weak points the drama had, especially in terms of plot progression in the later half. But, the drama actually followed the flow of major events from the novel. It's just that, I think, the novel's plot progression was rather complicated to transfer them onto the screen as it is.
Also, the drama seemed to have budget and episode constraints, so they seemed to alter a lot of things from the novel to satisfy all those requirements. My kudos to the whole production team though. They were able to produce this much of a polished drama from the budget they had. The producer mentioned they literally put all their budget into the production, and they weren't just saying it apparently.
To bet true, I don't really get the hype, but it's okay to watch. Ep 28 was boring as hell though. By far the…
What the other comment said basically. My personal story was with The Double which everyone was really hyped of. Dropped it at ep30 because I just couldn't get into it.
I am just disappointed FMC didn't contact Mc when she is the only one to regain the memory who saved her by sacrificing…
It was implied, explained, and shown again and again throughout the drama that some fate can't be altered and are inevitable. Dou Zhao already tried to changed the entire Jiang family's fate and succeeded to a degree, yet Duke Ding's demise was inevitable. He still ended up dying in a different way from their first life. She already did her best. What more could she do?
Airing schedule calendar released by WeTV. On those calendars, they put emojis and icons to represent one of the major plot developments happening in respective episodes.
You forget that he was revealed as an illegitimate child. He's no longer secure as the second young master. Also,…
Yes, that's a fair point actually. Just that, same as other source material readers, sometimes can't help but compare them, ahaha
Regarding Miao Ansu, Song Han's public image has always been good, so I think it's not that far fetched if they are into each other at this point of the story. Sh**t are going down according to ep28 teaser though.

For instance, in the drama, Song Han claimed he wasn't initially aware about Madam Jiang's poisoning. In the novel, he knew the medicine was poisoned, but knowingly served it personally to Madam Jiang just because he didn't want to jeopardize his standing as the legitimate second son.

Yah. Just that his evil acts and characteristics were more well developed and tie in to the main plot more fluidly in the source material, the novel. I believe OP was referring to that.
I know Song Han has always been meant to be one of the show's villains but I think it would have been better if…
Totally agreed. In the novel, Song Han was in the know of all the bad deeds his father did and consciously involved as either first or third party accomplice. Hence, Song Mo's wrath and retribution toward Song Han was deservingly warranted, and vice versa for Song Han's resentment. In the drama, Song Han's share of responsibility for the deaths of both Madam Jiang and his birth mother seems to be lessened to a degree, reducing his role to an unwitting accomplice for those crimes.
I'm still hopefully that the script still has more to explore for Song Han's villainous character in the coming episodes. May be, the truth of Song Han's actual involvement in the past events are later discovered by Song Mo and Dou Zhao?

Writers made it too realistic lol ๐
2 consecutive episodes of you was enough, now let's go back to our MoZhao.
In the end, to each their own after all.
aww Ansu my girl... we'll lend you our shoulders later on ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ๐ฎโ๐จ
How wrong were we... angst meter is way up there here!!! ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ
Couldn't even bask in joy at the pregnancy reveal scene for a moment. Literally got slapped with angst brick right after.

In Song Mo's version, ep 29 is marked with a 'heart': https://mydramalist.com/photos/PxoeX3_3
