I was like, "Wow the details they put here!" at that scene. One of the reasons why I'm enjoying the drama as much as the novel.

At he light bulb fixing scene as well, Sang Yan mentioned to Sang Zhi about how a girl is chasing him. He was referring Wen Yi Fan there.

Uncle r**ed and murdered a girl in the past, and the Aunt helped get rid of the body and crime scene. Uncle was given death penalty and aunt was sentenced for 3 years. As for the mother, Yifan cleanly cut off any relationship with her.

The final fight will be the same I guess. Just that they added a bit more angsts in the middle. We know the uncle is going down regardless, so it's fine.

He'll be here for a couple episodes if drama follows the major events from the novel (it's following accurately till now). My guess is around ep29-30.

fr fr. seems they amped up uncle's scene by a lot. Was hoping it would be like the novel for this arc (novel was already angsty to begin with).

ugh... I took a look at ep23 trailer and gosh, they amp it up by like 9000. He's even a security guard at Yifan's workplace now. weee.... here comes the angsts

I usually don't watch modern CDrama but got the urge to do so after watching TFF. L&P was the first one I picked up and it was just what I'm looking for. Still in the middle, but damn it's so good.

I haven't seen that clip yet (already read the novel but was intentionally avoiding drama clips). But yeah, he fought with the uncle. It's most likely that scene you are mentioning.

I'm imagining Sang Yan's face getting one-two punched by both Wen Yifan, and Sang Zhi/Duan Jiaxu combo at Yihe. Dude just can't chill with Yihe. lol

I giggled a lot while reading about it in the novel, despite all the angsts around that part. 😂

Watched a few minutes of ep13 and already could guess FL getting trashed in the comments here. lol

So, finished both episodes peacefully first, and came over here. It didn't disappoint. xD

It's her aunt's brother. He attempted to SA FL in the past, and one of the major sources of FL's trauma.

I haven't read the novel. But, evil family members usually are fodders for MC to practice their schemes in rebirth stories. So, I wouldn't worry that much. xD

Based on the conversation between FL and her father in ep4, looks like it was after her marriage? It was not that clear to me as well really. She only mentioned she'll lose face in front of her MIL and husband if they go to court.

But, it was also mentioned there that the deed was not successful. Looks like FL managed to escape from that situation.

Didn't expect it would be this graphic. It definitely was a tough watch.

About the Grandma, she's also in Sword and Brocade. Her character there is 1:1 of her character here. lol
