SWEET AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This drama is my FAVOURITE now, it deals with friendship, family, college, career, love and everything. Every episode is bitter sweet with a lesson at the end and it makes you want to do better and live better.
The 4 girls are absolutely different in every aspects yet they stick together and solve every problem they come across even though they constantly get discouraged, fail at the end they make it or take it as an experience.
Fan Xiaoyu is the glamorous rich one among the lot but you can see her struggling with life and trying to be independent, she have too much confidence in herself its both her advantage and disadvantage and she's hella loyal and supportive of her friends but she's self-willed resulting in chaos. Xia Langlang is the tomboy and she have another outlook towards life, it seems like she's the one with more knowledge about society and knows what to do in situations since she was forced to grow up too soon, though she herself is stuck too sometimes but she don't quit either.
Yang Jiaqian aka big sister is the nerdy one with idealistic views and righteous attitude, she never steps out of the line of her morals no matter who is at the receiving end. She prevents fights from breaking out and keep everyone together. She may seem meek with her protective attitude and shyness at times. Huang Fu Shumin is the little princess of the group and she really live upto that, born in an overprotective family, she don't quite know to fend for herself and she may annoy you during the beginning but she is the one with more character development. She's kinda childish, dramatic yet pure at heart, do the best for people around and the blunt one.
All of the main leads have some sort of family issues and none of them is more serious than other and them dealing with it gives us an insight about their lives and others who go through same.

OST- All the songs in this drama are so touching and the songs itself have a sweet emotional feeling and 10/10 for that.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, YOU ABSOLUTELY WON'T REGRET WATCHING THIS.

SIMPLE

Drama is quite simple and decent, but for some reason it didn't strike me as outstanding probably because of family dramas. The most likeable things about this drama is the female lead, she's mature, able and really thoughtful, then An An, he's the best assistant anyone can ask for, i think Zhening must hv done smthn really good in past life to get him. Either the episode is deeply rooted on family problems, or business, so there's never a balance in there, which frustrated me quite a lot.
Also the romance between leads is mature so there's no fluffy romance or silly fights but there's a lot of understanding and thoughtfulness between them which is the key element in adult relationships but not seen much in dramas, anyways i like that.
Second leads' romance was fun in the beginning but then i ended up skipping their scenes, and I never skip scenes while watching a drama, and the plot got real draggy towards the middle, it was like there was actually nothing going on worth mentioning so they just went back and forth arguements and wtever.
Zhening was quite weak against what was going on with his sister and gf, and that was annoying but eventually it all worked out. Zhijuan was trying hard to make up for what happened but messed up everything but like they say you can never be perfect. At the end, i realized they all made for their past deeds and i didn't hate them anymore which is a huge plus.
It's a good one and quite refreshing .

Amazing chemistry, slow romance, ROLLER-COASTER STORYLINE.

I'm not a fan of old era or historical dramas and I never start them as well. But since this drama started in this age I ended up starting it and loving it. Major portion of this drama is not in modern era but old one.
IF YOU ARE ONLY HERE FOR ROMANCE THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU, there's alot of side stories alongside main plot line and honestly I enjoyed it, I like it when there's stories to side characters as well since it gives you an insight to their life. There was amazing CHEMISTRY between the leads and it was really good. The fl didn't fall for him until the middle of it and it just gave it a more realistic vibe to it than love at first sight, marriage, kids route. It does have a tragic end but in other life they get back together so it's all good (but i lowkey wish they remember what happened in their last life). But the end seemt rushed so I have mixed feelings about it.
If you love a drama that not only have sweet romance. By all means go for it. u won't regret it oh and also it gives an idea about beijing opera and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

My comfort Drama

I absolutely loved this drama, from the leads to ost. Even tho it's similar to cliche idol-assistant cliche dramas, it differs alot too, mainly because fl is not a weak and timid girl but a strong and independant woman with alot of values and male lead is arrogant yet righteous, he is not unreasonably rude but have strong morals and protects it. One of the reason i love this drama is the same reason why others hate about this, business and side stories, I love how they portrayed alot of stories and struggles side by side with main story line it just shows people acting irrational have a backstory as well especially with second male lead and Chen Tianhao (president). Most of the dramas i have watched till now have a main story line and sometimes a side story, but this had alot of things going on and it felt like i was watching alot of dramas at the same time and it also helped me know that your story isnt yours alone, there are going to be different people involved in it with their own story and views which would affect yours as well which alot of dramas don't portray.
Chemistry is 10 on 10, there was no love at first sight or hate at first sight, they were both individuals with dreams and for once there wasn't any miscommunication between them, they both thought of each other yet did what they thought was right, they didn't let their personal issues affect their profession as well. The growth of their relationship was more beautiful and natural, slow yet steady, even though they had issues before they never let that affect their job or their new boss-assistant relationship. Their relationship was built on trust, communication and reliability which makes it all the more amazing and sweet.
Don't even get me started on OST, its THE BEST, all of the songs in this have emotion and it just fits with the whole show and now rests in my playlist. And acting was amazing too. Z.Tao seemt like he was just being himself and Janice well we all knows she's really good.
I'd rewatch it over and over again, 10/10. Would recommend.

A MIX OF ALL( there's a lot of designing and PASSION)

I started watching this drama quite a while ago but then put it on hold because of my university exams, back then i loved this. Then after a few months, I picked it back up again, the spark was lost, I found both the main male leads quite overbearing, later on things changed, which is a plus. Mo Fei (FL) is amazing, she's quite childish yet mature, outspoken but knows to respect, she's passionate and confident yet kind, I loved her character so much. Few other characters who have my heart are Mo Fan fml's brother, he's charming and cute ,their constant bickering made watching it all the more fun, then ml's assistant Yang Guang ( if I'm not wrong) is the best wingman and led Tang Mingxuan in the right path when it came to his ventures in love. Her mom and his father are another pair of amazing characters, they absolutely are goals.
The reason I didn't give this an 8.5 is because there was a lot of unnecessary dragging in the plot towards the middle so I had to skip a lot. And lord knows how much his mom pissed me off, I get headache whenever she opens her mouth like Jesus! Other backstabbers were not fun either especially Shen Jiaxi, she pissed me off more than Bai Xiaoman tbh, at least a known enemy is better than a backstabbing bestfriend. Fang Xiaoyu was obsessed so he gave me a feeling of trapped but his reasoning and past makes it understandable yet not tolerable.
Now let's talk about positive parts, at the end even the evil vile characters were not hated, they turned out good, usually when bad characters self reflect and move on it still doesn't make me feel okay but this drama obviously did it, those actors portrayed their role very well. This drama discussed Chinese culture, designing, business love, family and friendship, it was amazingly done. People make mistakes but one must learn from it. Leads had amazing chemistry both first and second, there was a huge amount of support, love and very less cliché dating scenes which I loved, very few misunderstandings, lots of growth. In the ending parts, Fang Xiaoyu too got my heart piece( a tiny one though).
AND THE STARTING MUSIC OH MY GOS, IT'S SO MELODIC SO SWEET, I want to put it as my alarm but I know it'll make me want to curl up in my blankets all the more so bad idea.
ABSOLUTELY GO FOR IT...

WEIRD

Drama had a great starting and I was hooked but then a lot happened and in the very first few episodes Zhen Rong died and ever since it's just depressing and wholly business. Zhen Rong and Xiao Su had one of the best chemistry I've seen, it's simple yet sweet like a fairytale though had a tragic ending. Other lead was nice but he never seemt all that genuine to me and he wronged fl in more than one circumstances and even though story progressed and they fell in love it just felt weirdly out of place since he questioned her love for his brother over and over and used harsh words when she was barely surviving. Things like that stick by me and it's something I can never forget if happened to me so maybe that's why I don't like other lead. Forgiveness is great but forgetting isn't.
I only watched first 9 episodes without skipping then it was all just skipping. even if i rewatch this it'll only be for first 5 episodes. Rest just make me pissed off or make me bawl my eyes out.

Epic Love story

It's aftr 2 and I've an early train tomorrow but I couldn't help but finish this whole drama, It's THAT good...
First things first, this drama have a great storyline whoever is behind this put alot of creativity and imagination into this, as story progresses everything starts to piece together like a jigsaw puzzle. But the ending may seem unsatisfactory to alot of ppl including myself but it's a reminder not everything have a happy ending and that's okay there's still hope.
Second, I've seen reviews and comments targeting at Guan Pipi (fl), it's kinda bs too bc she's human and don't know any better, I'm happy she was flawed bc there was a lot of character development on her part and I'm here for it. LOVED IT
Had really great side characters including coffee girl and assistants, they remained loyal throughout yet entertaining and some others like Qianhua and Su Mei who also helped throughout. Qianhua is a strong woman, but if she lived that many years loving someone and weren't that tough I'd have been pissed. The villain of the story didn't seem like a villain at times but he was deeply flawed to the point he don't know right from wrong and sacrificed everyone around him.
Another thing I love about the drama is fl is super realistic and she doesn't fall him from the start but takes time with it and that's so romantic for some reason lmao. ml is a true gentleman yet passionate, he lived for so long so it's a given that he's responsible and mature.
I HONESTLY HOPE THERE'S A SEASON 2 BUT IK IT'S IN VAIN BUT I'LL HOPE...

Second male lead syndrome

Although the plot was real draggy in the beginning, it turnt out to be quite fun later on. There was moments I had multiple feelings towards actors, like till the half or so of the drama female lead was pretty much meek, frustrating and what annoyed me more is her attitude towards the second male lead aka Lin Yimu, she was always annoyed by him but later on she had a massive makeover not just physically but attitude-wise too and then i realized they had a bond where they can bicker back and forth and still remain same.
Her best friend gave me mixed feelings as well, she kept going back and forth with her attitude towards Li Hui Zhen, even though understandable, it was her own fault. The whole show was carried by Lin Yimu (second ml), his care, annoying moments, gentleness made the show memorable, i gave this show a rating 4 but later changed it to 7 because of him.
Main lead, Haoyu is so emotionless and he is a bit bossy as well and I don't like him much.
This is the drama which gave me major second male lead syndrome...
Li Hui Zhen and Lin Yimu all the way!!!

Good storyline but kinda toxic relationship

Although i enjoyed the drama till 15th or so episodes, my interest went down pretty quick after that. Male lead is the usual cliche lead, cold and brilliant until he met fl. but the reason i dont like this drama much and gave low rating is because he is way too possessive not healthy possessive but toxic possessive and Yuan Qian(fl) just went along with his interests which makes it all the more problematic. And the second male lead is better with female lead than the male lead since he gives her more freedom and space., their relationship was sweet until male lead tampered with it. only reason for 3.5 rating is because of the friendship, the struggle of art students and the whole growing up.
wont rewatch again for sure

Uninteresting and Cliche

So Firstly you got the typical cold, arrogant, bossy CEO and a warm and kind female lead who can cook well. And of course a cheating boyfriend and an ex girlfriend who come outta nowhere. Despite that, first few episodes were really nice, I realized there were more to the female lead than that like for instance she wasn't a door mat and is actually not dumb. And the male lead warmed up to her pretty fast, shocking I know. It was light hearted and fun, got me hooked. Romance develop then fall then back again.
After few episodes, things started getting messy and confusing, the female lead suddenly wanted to celebrate his birthday despite not knowing him well enough I guess she caught feelings, then he got mad at her because he hated his birthday, if that doesn't scream CLICHE, I don't know what will. The plot is all over the place. I liked it in the very first few episodes, it seem quite normal yet slowly developing. Then out of nowhere they became stuck and awkward. Add in an uncle and best friend, it became a chaotic mix , like they are being forced together when they actually needed time apart to think things through. An ex gf came in, and it became even more confusing like it didn't already have a confusing male lead. Not to mention the other director guy who likes her, his personality now is different from his aloof aura before and honestly I found his character to have more depth and found him interesting than the male lead for obvious reasons.
Sure, the male lead had a troublesome childhood, doesn't like birthdays, but the fl went on to celebrate his birthday even though they didn't properly know each other and it blew up in her face, typical cliché. There was a lot of things happening but at the same time none at all, it was weird and uninteresting. Still I pushed through, and they got together, then whole office knowing she is his gf, thinking she got her position because of that, blah blah, I stopped right there knowing very well it is not going to get much better.
Honestly, I liked the bestfriend and uncle duo much better, and even other leads too actually had that fire. Every character had that individuality at first, then it seem like it was managed in such a way that it fit the main leads interest and plot more, like they didn't have a life outside. Loved the moms tho.

There's a lot happening

I started to watch this drama after seeing some reels on it and was already prepared for the psychotic male lead. But when I started watching this, I got to know the fl is strong, independant and very promising, even with flaws. I was expecting to see him crying and begging her after how he treated her , but that guy actually made me like him. There is obviously some plot holes, like where did the BPD go? I read some reviews of people trashing the fl, so was prepared for the worst, but she was actually very reasonable for wt she went through and had great development. The whole revenge and family drama was a rollercoaster and i hates Su Juan for wt he have become. But i love this at the end, theres growth, plot and actual flaws for chracters to b human.
