Love in Pavilion was a very painful watch, even though it was the requirement, being the precursor of Sword and Beloved.

I'm still imagining a rebirth arc of Wangquan HongYi and Dongfang Huaizhu from Love in Pavilion and the magic that Zhang Yun Long and Liu Shishi created as the main characters 😍😭😍

I can't handle tragedies anymore.

OMG!!! Those flashbacks of Zhang Yunlong and Liu Shishi as the
Younger versions of Wangquan HongYi and Dongfang Huaizhu.... It carved a fresh wound in my heart 😭💔
I miss them so much again...💘❤️‍🩹

But without those, the viewers would not be able to connect with the older HongYi in this show.

This instalment of Fox Spirit Matchmaker is going to get a full-circle I hope and the love story gets a happy ending, please 🙏🤞

Cheng Yi as Wangquan Fugui excels as the stoic 'Soldier' of the Yiqi Alliance - the ace weapon that Wangquan HongYi has sharpened over the years. He shines brilliantly in this role. 👏👏

Qing Tong as Li Yi Tong is adorable as the cutesy lil' spider and then as the subordinate of Fugui. I'm loving their chemistry.

Can't wait for the future episodes 🤞😍

The contrast between the fake Tang LiCi and the original one was so incredible. Although I'll admit, the fake Tang LiCi gave me 'Tantai Jin' vibes 😁😄

I'm okay if they keep the romance between Su Muyu and Bai He Huai a bit downplayed but if the brotherhood and friendship between Su Changhe and Su Muyu is as strong as it is in the book version, I think we're going to have one hell of a show when we get to see this A-team of Su Changhe and Su Muyu cleaning out the bad guys and destroying all their conspiracies.
