So a guy made a joke the goverment didn't like. So...they paralized the WHOLE industry?
And he didn't even appeared in this drama specifically?

I don't understand. Why they don't just eliminate the whole industry itself if they're gonna add bans after bans and new laws after new laws that make whole finished projects go to the garbage can?

I don't like this timeline at all...

I mean, for what I understand it's about a guy transmigrating to a queen's body from the past. And the king falls in love with him for his personality, they both fall in love with each other and even have a baby. But then after all of that the guy transmigrates back into his own time, ends alone and isolated and the king ends with the original owner of the queen's body not having a clue why she is so different from his love.

And there's people who say...it's a good ending?
I'm comfused. I thought it was a clever way to tell a queer story, like a way to explain to non-queer audiences that "gender and sexuality don't matter when it comes to love".

But then...it isn't? Like the end seems to be homophobic and transphobic to me?

Idk, I had this one in my "to watch list" and after reading some comments here and tumblr I'm even more confused when people say it's a good ending?
Like, is there something I miss? Did I mistake the show and there's another with a similar name and plot? I'm so confused right now and I think I need to sleep more.

I get wanting to watch something with no romance, I get it. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood. Also asexual people exist.
But instead of watching something with romance and complain about it, I just turn to the other bunch of dramas with no romance. Someone up in the comments even made a list.

But saying that wanting to see gay relationships in a show is fetishization??

I know some people do not recommended to watch another series of the same genre just after watching this, but I cannot contain my CRAVING for more of this type of male lead. I NEED to watch something new, there's so many times you can rewatch your fav scenes of a drama.

So my question is: anyone knows another show (preferably xianxia and/or fantasy) with this type of lead? Someone cold and misterious that seems to be evil but then later he would melt and do anything for the female lead?

I tried to ask this question in the feed, but somehow is down for me and I cannot access it.
