Definitely agree that this is of better quality. I hear you and agree with the frustrations of the vertical dramas but off late they have really improved on some of them, especially those ones of popular vertical drama actors, they have their flaws still but a bit more tolerable than before. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a fan, picky with them still but I’ve seen some not so bad ones.

I’m in love with these short dramas. I watch them on YouTube. But I guess I’m not up to date with some things. This may be a dumb question but what is Vertically filmed? “Short series” does explain itself but why are they called Vertically filmed? What does that mean?
Not bad but they sure know how to ruin a drama, (either good drama or one barely hanging by a thread) with the last few episodes. Those episodes are always the worst, especially with these short dramas. They cringy, extra and just nonsensical. Fell in love with this female lead, didn’t know her and now I’m off to watch some of her other staff. Dai Gao Zheng sure knows how to deliver with the kissing as usual. Love him, but his showing emotion acting needs a bit of work.
One of the most satisfying ending/last two episodes of drama I have seen, nothing rushed just beautiful. It was a decent watch bit frustrating at time but enjoyable nonetheless
On episode 22 and I don’t know why I always forget because it always frustrates me when I see it even though it’s the norm, that in C-dramas, speaking the truth and communication is not part of their core values in relationships. I forget that in C-dramas when you love someone you lie to them and you don’t communicate with them, you hide things from them. What frustrating foolishness
