I really feel like PoJ was kinda a hit and then miss, it has some really really amazing parts, and then some not so good bits, but overall I enjoyed it quite a lot

Honestly, I had higher expectations for this. I loved the first Lin'An arc, it was beautiful character building. But then when it started moving into the more complicated court politics + uncovering the mystery of the incident from 17 years ago, it became very complex. I actually found it difficult to follow and lost interest in the second half of the series.

What I loved about this series is the character writing, cinematography, relationships between the couples and omg DengKai. He's really outdone himself this time

DengKai has truly truly outdone himself in PoJ, what a wonderful and heartful performance, I actually thought he outshone even the main leads

Ok I know our FL is a genius and a super capable girlie and I love her, but come on, she is not at all experience in actual battles/fights and has herself admitted her fighting skills are only at a novice level. The first time she defeated the general was because it was a battle of strength, fine, but the second time, it was a battle of skill, how the hell did she win?? Frankly, I thought it was a bit too unrealistic and exaggerated, even by cdrama standards.

She may have had some little tips from ML and General He, but she had no extra practice, don't tell me she somehow internalised their advice and just became a master fighter ..

I've seen him play the villain in The Blood of Youth and then Pursuit of Jade, he is undeniably an amazing villain actor, and a very very handsome one that strikes the balance between attractive and deadly. I hope to see him in more roles like this

Some of my favourite romance cdramas - Fall in Love (2021), Hidden Love, Lighter & Princess, Who rules the world, A journey to love, Love of the Divine Tree

But my favourite cdrama of all time is The Untamed, it ticks all your boxes and more

That's really lovely, it's nice to know that I don't need to be so worried about AiMi being exploited for her age. I have always admired HMH and I trust that he will have the dignity and heart to respect and support AiMi during their project together

I was really worried about this drama too, I'm glad there won't be much skinship. If they can portray romance without any kissing and PDA, which is entirely possible, it may turn out to be a masterpiece

That's what I would like to know too. I love love HMH and AiMi is always amazing in her roles, but them together in a romance series? Hm .. what made them think this was a good idea

I just checked too, AiMi is really young and a great support actress, but I'm a tad uncomfortable seeing her as a romance lead at her current age (especially since HMH who I absolutely adore is also nearing his 30s)

If zombies don't bite each other, why did the security zombie get attracted to the supermarket girl when she went to grab blond dude's phone? Or was that just him trying to get inside the apartment by scaring her

I really like the premise of the story, it's an interesting twist on the zombie apocalypse, but the way everyone in the series acts so stupidly (yes including FL) really gets on my nerves. The only one that seems to use their brains are ML and Han TaeSeok, also 1501 is an interesting character too

Do the zombies regain full human consciousness in between the periods when they unzombify? It seemed to me that they do because they feel guilt, and it seems their hunger for blood doesn't have to be because they enjoy it, it's an impulse that they can control as that also controls the frequency of their zombification. So does it not conclude that the people who keep trying to get the residents to invite them into the building are doing so purely because they gave into their thirst and excitement for blood? That basically makes them animals in my eyes, even if cured, there's really no going back for that is there

Ok I can't really get over FL's hypocrisy in ep3? She was made to be such a sympathetic person who gets mad because freaking zombies weren't treated as human beings, yet she deliberately let loose a zombie at the cheating husband. Normally, I would so applaud this because she was in danger because of him, but if FL is all about treating all humans humanely, it's just not right to see her do this. I guess her 'treat all beings humanely' belief crumbles when it comes to her own safety, bad guys, and revenge

Also I genuinely want to know, when FL (and ML) kept threatening the dude to release all the footages/evidence of the zombie college place, what did they think would happen? Even after the video taken by FL's friend was released, nothing really happened did it. FL said she should've released them when her apartment complex was being cordoned off, but realistically, what would've changed?? Is it so that the residents who illegally took the pills will know they might zombify and run to who knows where?

Uh oh I hate characters that are all talk no bite, tell me it gets better

Edit: oh my dear, 1 episode in and I already know what you mean .. she's gutsy for sure, but way way too reckless - OMFG DID SHE JUST RUN INTO THAT ZOMBIE TRUCK WITH ABSOLUTELY 0 PROTECTION TO SAVE A ZOMBIFIED PERSON

I'm seeing so many good reviews, but somehow can't seem to get myself to start this. I need a single scene that can convince me to watch this
