Did Yeong Sook stepmom know she was like that all along??? I understand nothing at this point. Which timeline came first? If she had not answered the call would all the happened next be avoided? But it seemed like the 2019 YS had the phone from the beginning. Too many questions 😔😔😔
The only thing I can say is: sometimes don't trust MDL ratings - just go for it, especially with K-dramas.
I absolutely enjoyed this one. My feminist side definitely felt uncomfortable with some of the sexism, and parts of it would probably be cancelled if released today. But aside from that, it was a really good watch!
Ok, chill out a bit. This is cinema. She thought she was going to die anyway and wanted to truly live and love. She saw him, fell in love, and made her move. It was all her - he never knew her as a minor. She saw those as the last years of her life. In real life, she probably would have died, and those final years would have been a beautiful, passionate love story. So maybe watch the drama instead of just reading the synopsis and writing reviews. If the trope isn't to your liking, just avoid it.
P.S. I am a sucker for good chemistry and romance
