In episode 15, in the scene where SY's mom comes home to find dad passed out drunk. In the long shot at the end of that scene, I swear the set looks exactly like the mom's house from Extraordinary Attorney Woo, only with different furniture. But the room layouts, including the steps down into the living room, looks exactly the same.
Can the FL get STOOOOOPIDER? Those body guards are there for a freaking REASON. You're freaking psycho stalker is still on the loose. Also, stupidest body guards ever. Just hide behind a tree and watch her. Don't disappear.
I also didn't need to see the Mr. Gong and Ms. Ma bits. The office cat fight, the stair catch, and the lunch time proposal were cringe worthy.
And enough with Rowoon's and the other male's lipstick. I want that lipstick for myself, but it looks goofy on men. Stop it.
"It's a daughter." Way to imply sex just happened, hahaha. That closet / scar scene was something else. Must rewatch.
I have high hopes that SML is just collecting evidence to bring down the mayor, and he's really not a bad guy.
SFL is about to get dumped by her new boyfriend. Yay. I hope FL's recording of SFL goes viral.
You are right. It's certainly a plot flaw. Perhaps in the last two episodes the relationship with the father and…
Well, they still haven't explained what creepy gardener did to SY when he "collapsed in the parking lot" and was unconscious for days. So, I'm not holding out any hope that they're going to explain why Dad doesn't seem to have the curse.
So Also was wondering about this and it wasn't really explained so, my two thoughts are that 1) when you get married…
I also thought about the Dad marrying young and having a son so that the curse could pass on to the baby. However, that's a really shitty thing to do for generations, which implies SY comes from a family of a-holes. Well, his dad definitely fits that mold.
If the curse of the red hand and sickness and early death has been passed down through generations of SY's family, why doesn't his dad have it? Why doesn't SY's dad experience the red hand? Why didn't SY's dad die early in his marriage? Am I missing something?
I guess I would have found the curse plot a little more believable as a plot device if SY's dad died when SY was young, and maybe current dad is actually a step dad. Because dad appears to be very healthy and not experiencing all the sickness crap that SY is going through.
I just finished it and I love it. It nice to finally have a show that acknowledges that people have sex. Love their wrestling in bed. Very realistic.
I'm glad someone pointed out the ex-boss being so fake that his glasses don't have lens in them, and he takes them off by putting his fingers through the holes where the lens should be. I didn't catch that originally in the first episode.
I love the bit in episode 5 where ML is mad and kicks his slippers off, and one goes flying off screen. There's a glass breaking sound, and ML makes a horrified face. I suspect the slipper actually hit one of the crew, ML makes a horrified face, and director motions for ML to keep going. They used that take and added the glass breaking sound. I had to rewatch that scene a couple of times, because it was so obvious that the slipper mishap wasn't supposed to happen, and the look on ML's face is priceless.
The Pretty Woman moment at the end was embarrassing, especially in front of Grace. Insensitive. I thought he had more chemistry with the older actress who was getting the divorce. He had no chemistry with the roommate.
It was nice that the exboyfriend was not a total jerk and had her back.
I liked that she didn't want to get married at the end. They can still be a great couple and not get married.
Did anyone else catch this? Mr. Kwon MADE THE MAYOR RUN A MARATHON in the morning, and then Mr. Kwon kept the mayor in meetings with businessmen and the public all day and half the night. I think Mr. Kwon is punishing the mayor in a way that just looks like Kwon's doing his job. Mr. Kwon seems to be on SY and HJ's side.
Random shower scene. Can we just have an entire episode of SY in the shower, please?
Thank goodness they finally killed the potted plant. At least NY knows she's in the shit house now.
Seriously, this whole episode could have been solved if people just answered their damn phones.
I went back and fast forwarded through the entire 16 episodes to just watch the Shaman's scenes. Oh, wow.
When OK tells Bong to go to the Shaman right after getting her powers, he tells Bong she should become a Shaman or MANY PEOPLE SHE'S CLOSE TO WILL DIE!!!!! OMG. He's not just fleecing her for money.
All his fake crying really was fake crying. It wasn't bad acting for the actor. It was good acting for the actor, and bad acting for the Shaman.
Every time the Shaman finished talking to someone, especially SunWoo, but other people as well, as soon as that person left, the Shaman's face changed. I always assumed it was because he suspected that person as being the serial killer. But it was because he suspected that person was thinking he was the serial killer, or he was thinking about what he just read in their mind.
The scene in the park when the Shaman announces "I know who killed me. They're here at this gathering." Well, duh. Way to deflect from himself and put the suspicion on the rest of the town. And then he goes and predicts more murders.
But we don't actually get the shining eyes until he meets with Bong while preparing for SunWoo's funeral. I thought maybe the shining eyes might show up earlier and we just didn't notice. But what we did get was, I don't know what to call it, the Shaman's head being made bigger and smaller very fast camera motion thingy. I always assumed it was to show he was being fake possessed by General McArthur.
We do get the Shaman leaning in towards who he is talking to, and guessing correctly what the person just did. Creepy.
And The Butt of Truth. The Shaman just sitting there fanning himself, and not saying a word unless Bong tells him what to say. Way to deflect suspicion, and find out how well Bong can see into people's minds.
The Shaman really had the best superpower of them all, since he only had to look into their eyes. If I could read people's minds by looking into their eyes, I have a bad feeling I'd want to kill most people I met, too. Hangs head in shame.
SY: "I'm alone."
Eun Wol: "Liar. Enjoy your morning."
