Episode 5: Well crap. Now I'm back to thinking Woo Hak is Kiho, but only because he's the brother who wears glasses. Nope.
Going on what each brother says to Mok Ha, I think it's Bo Geol. Yup, definitely Kiho is Bo Geol. The look on his face as he was filming the two ladies singing, reminded me of the look on Kiho's face when he was filing Mok Ha in school.
PLUS, when Woo Hak was in the hospital, he doesn't recognize his mom or dad (because New Dad isn't his father. AND Woo Hak says he didn't meet Bo Geol until MUCH LATER. That would be because Kiho couldn't get away from Bad Dad right away. It took him some time to escape from Bad Dad.
They better clear this up soon. And they better kill off or arrest Bad Dad soon, or I'll have a heart attack before this show ends.

Bo Geol knew where Bad Dad lives. This is where Woo Hak, Bo Geol, and Mom lived with Bad Dad. Bad Dad goes berserk, and maybe even hurts Woo Hak so badly he has amnesia. Mom manages to leave with Woo Hak, but Bad Dad brings Bo Geol / Kiho to Mok Ha's island / small town. Kiho is the new kid in school. He has few friends there, but future insurance guy is one of them. Bad Dad takes out his anger on Kiho. Since Bad Dad was a cop, Bo Geol doesn't trust cops, so he doesn't want Woo Hak calling the cops on Bad Dad. When Woo Hak points at the large photo in Bad Dad's apartment, it is not obvious which brother he is pointing at. It's vague to throw us all off. Also, Mom limps because Bad Dad hurt her, too. Bad Dad obviously put the hornets in the insurance guy / Kiho's friend's car. There better be some karma coming for Bad Dad, or I'm going to riot.

For Episode 6: I hope the TV singing contest between Mo Rae and Ran Joo, has Ran Joo introduce Mok Ha as the person who won the original contest 15 years again, and have Mok Ha sing against Mo Rae instead.
Any theories as to why the dad only wanted to name Kiho as benefactor and not include his other son Woohak?
I was a bit confused. Was Bad Dad naming Kiho as benefactor of the insurance OR was Bad Dad taking out insurance on Kiho. So that if Kiho dies, then Bad Dad gets the money.
1. Woo Hak remembers Bad Dad because he is Kiho's brother. He was even more badly abused and Mom left with him, but wasn't able to take Kiho with her.
2. Woo Hak has separation anxiety from being separated from Kiho.
3. Kiho had bunk beds in his room.
4. Kiho was younger than Mok Ha.
5. Bo Geol is Kiho. The way he looked at Mok Ha when she was singing the song about what he said to Ran Joo while on the roof. The way he was the one who ran to her at the station. I think he's terrified of telling her who he is because Bad Dad is still out there.

I was a feminist when feminism was invented. It meant equal pay for equal work. The ERA was proposed in 1923, and still isn't passed. Equality still hasn't happened.

2. Both brothers wear the same coats. They keep hitting the viewers over the head with this fact, so both us and Bad Dad won't be able to tell the brothers apart.
3. It's possible that Woo Hak waited at the station for Mok Ha until his accident. And then Bo Geol took over waiting for her, since Woo Hak had told him what he's doing before his accident.
4. But I really want Bo Geol to be Kiho. He's the one who ran to the station to save Woo Hak from Bad Dad because he knew Kiho didn't send flowers.
The writers are going to keep flip flopping us to keep us on the edge of our seats.
5. It's going to come out that Ran Joo had a dead mike on the live show. They have it on camera. She'll have to come clean that it was Mok Ha singing. Maybe Mok Ha gets a contract with a rival record company, and Ran Joo becomes her manager. I just want good things for these two as Mentor / Mother / Mentee / Daughter.
The 12-episode format is better to me (unless the drama is really, really good and you want it to last forever).…
I agree!!!! I hate it when TV shows or movies end with no conclusion, and are just a setup for the NEXT season or movie. It's like making love and not getting an orgasm. Oh, I'll give you one NEXT time. Nope. Give me a climax to the story now, and give me a different new story if there is a next time.

I'm talking network TV, I guess. When I watch streaming, the length of American shows are all over the place. Actually, I like that the episodes don't have to be an exact length, and that there doesn't have to be an exact number of episodes. It's nice to have the show be exactly as long as it needs to be.

The American model is long seasons (24 episodes or more), and too many of them (7). The Brits on the other hand do short seasons (6 episodes) and maybe 2 seasons.
