I’m bout to start episode 6 rn and I keep getting the thought that Zhixia might be on the spectrum a little bit? and I’m saying this bc I have an older sibling and friends who are on the spectrum and between her not being able to pick up on social queues not being into/relating to the typical hobbies and stuff her peers are into and being “blunt” with her words and therefore getting misunderstood alot it makes me wonder if she is but these type dramas won’t outright put a label on it so I’m not gonna stress but it would be cool if she was especially since there isn’t alot of media that represents ppl who don’t have the stereotypical look of someone who is on the spectrum but most certainly are on it

everything was “ok” until the end where I felt like it dragged out and they should’ve cut some stuff also they don’t take any type of abuse seriously like they treated a victim of SA like a cheater and the victim basically acts like she’ll let him back in her life at the last minute when not long ago she was shouting how disgusted she was with him and trying her very best to make sure he was either in jail or dead if he didn’t admit his wrongdoings the child abuse and neglect from FL childhood is kinda glossed I mean they mention the wrong behavior towards her but don’t really do much and move on the main perpetrator gets a redemption arc and doesn’t get hated by FL once and even the person she literally wanted to destroy for multiple reasons eventually gets forgiven but his ending is little more satisfying there are MULTIPLE ppl that should’ve been in jail but its a family makjang and my expectations were already low in the beginning it was a 7 but now I give it a 6/6.5 a lil casual watch if you wanna turn your brain off and relax or multitask

sigh another victim of being locked in the vault for too long I could see this topping if it was released in the late 2010s or early 2020s but its 2026 and the standards have risen this was pretty mid and I had to watch at 2x speed towards the end to power through

I try my best to finish stuff as well I’m usually more free towards the end of the year so I choose that time to go through my list and pick out all the stuff I’m close to finishing or really wanna watch and just binge all at once until I can’t take it anymore it takes alot for me to drop stuff and everything in my drop list is for different reasons like I spoiled the ending for myself and Ik I’m not gonna like it or the writing/acting is really cringe or as you said it’s really boring I should drop stuff more often but I like to give a second chance or 2

I’m watching episode 23 rn and I have a feeling Miaoqing gonna deadass die chasing after Tongzhou I hate women who fall hopelessly in love with a man for doing the bare minimum it always disappoints me bc like GET UP and her death prolly gonna be used as a lesson for Tongzhou and make him feel regretful UGH I HATE IT

sometimes you just gotta be mentally ready to watch something otherwise I’ll just put it on hold again if I’m not prepared for it its an ongoing cycle I can’t break 😂

I remember having to put that on hold while it was aring bc I was busy at the time so I don’t remember much of her and now I’m just waiting for the perfect mood to watch it which idk when that’ll come sometimes I’ll even have stuff I loved on hold for years if I’m not in the right mood when that day comes you’ll prolly find me on her case in the comments too 💀

I was really basing my comment off of the dramas I’ve watched so far and can remember and also from the fact you expect those women to be horrible and get their karma and all that they birthed those children but they were never a mother to those children while here its like she uses the excuse of birthing FL to be a horrible person and everyone don’t interfere much and/or goes around acting like its normal to stress your child out and isolate them from their peers and more while also letting the little one go balls to the wall she might aswell be abusive so FL can easily cut ties with her without all the extra emotions and half assed character development that took WAY too long to happen she really pissed me off bad my first watch through and now my second

so….. no one really gets punished for their wrongdoings they get to be mean and stuck up and evil all until the last episode and STILL get a happy ending the romance is meh I’ve watched ML in goong and he was ok but his acting in this was… 😖 especially in his sad crying scenes I had to skip most of em anyways 6/10 I’ve seen worse but I’ll never rewatch

so far not bad reminds me of the winning try and racket boys its been a min since there’s been a sports cdrama hopefully this one doesn’t follow the shitty upload schedule trend thats been going on lately
