literally dont know what show u were watching LMAO. the male leads stoyline is his mother left him when his was younger and he is being raised by his aunt and uncle, also bok jo is literally his first love and someone he feels safe around which he needs because he has anxiety which is something that was hindering his career. he has a deep storyline so again idk what show u was watching. but like also the show is literally called weighlighting fairy KIM BOK JO she is the MAIN CHARACTER uhjhdfjdkl

also youngseo disowning her dad and going on her on made me so happy i feel like ive seen so many kdramas where the bad parents are redeemed and its like.. ugh no some people do not change and people can disown their parents and be happy. my fave character and fave second couple 🥰💕💕💕

just woke up and saw finale a trending and I started sobbing. This show has had such a hold over me for months I feel like I’m going through a bad breakup. I’m just gonna miss it so much never thought I would ever enjoy a HYD story the way I love this one. I’m so sad y’all. I know I can rewatch but it’s not the same lol

I think honestly stop holding gorya on a pedestal. No offence cuz i was also doing the same thing until the zoo date I realised the writers are not writing her to be this like glowing angel of good vs rhymes “devil” I mean sometimes she is not much better than thyme. She lies for no reason. she can resort to violence to if she needs to. that’s the difference between them tho cuz thyme seemed to just like hitting people lol. But like they’re both meant to be these beasts in different ways.
Of course she would instruct him to fight back. She only fights back where it’s nesscary. It was life or death.. she didn’t know if talay would stop or not. Neither did thyme but as he said if he fights back he’s loses anyway.
And your second point again stop putting her on a pedestal and you’ll understand her more. She’s a teenage girl the moral compass can be slippery. but now I’m thinking about it..I don’t know if gorya ever even wanted thyme to be PUNISHED for the red card? She just wanted him to stop and atone .. but now after they’ve declared their LOVE for each other officially she of course doesn’t want to be apart from him anymore. She even says she will be by his side from now on. Idk I need to do a rewatch to remember what goryas motivations were before but it made sense to me
