On episode 26 - this whole thing with the sister pisses me off so much. I understand ML’s and her husband are trying to protect her but to sacrifice their own happiness is just crazy.
Been waiting for this for what seems like forever - worth the wait 10x’s over. Such a beautiful drama. Highly recommend. JCW looks damn sexy with long hair.
I think season 1 was great and looking forward to season 2. I've been a fan of LMH for years and I think this is his best work. He has had a lot of crap roles in the past but he stands out in this one. I saw some interviews where he said that he went after this role hard and was determined to play the role of HanSu because it was unlike anything he's done in the past. The cinematography is simply stunning! As always, when I finish a drama that I loved I'll almost immediately rewatch it to catch little things that I didn't see the first time - came away loving it even more after the re-watch. IMO - this drama is by far the best I've seen in the past couple of years....I can't even pinpoint why I loved it so much - maybe a combination of the story, the writing, the actors, the cinematography or the OST...it moved me beyond expectation.
So much emotion in ep 8. Love all the characters and how the store is developing. The 2 grannies surprised me - you’d think they’d be the most judgmental regarding the teen pregnancy but turns out they’re surprisingly supportive. I shed a tear or 2 when In Kwon broke down at the end with his son....well actually several tears. I hate how abusive he was towards his son even before the pregnancy but he believes in brutal tough love and it's probably all he's known. His son will break the cycle. The slow burn with Jung Joon and Young Ok’s relationship is killing me - it’s either going to end in a beautiful story or really bad.....they’re really building up her secret past. A lot to look forward to.
This is seriously one of the best variety shows! Love the interactions between the staff and the store and restaurant customers. When the one elderly lady wished Kwang Soo a happy and health new year and said that young people struggle too much really touched my heart. Kwang Soo kept his back to the camera for a while and you could just tell that it touched his heart too. I hope we get the remaining episodes soon!
Big mistake - I read comments before I watched ep 7 - now I'm looking for excuses to leave work early so i can get home and watch this....BIG MISTAKE!!! Loving this drama - I don't think anything could top this as best drama of 2022.
Why oh why do I look for some kind of hint to how this will end? Why oh why do I try to decode everything that's said? Why can't I just enjoy this drama for the great acting they all give us week after week. Why? Can't I just enjoy the damn drama? Apparently not!
So in love with this drama - one thing you can be certain of is anything that PMY signs on to is certain to be a great watch. Love the last 10 mins of episode 4 when they took scenes a little further than what was aired earlier - when Ha Kyung turned and walked back to Shi Woo after the restaurant......when she looked around the computer screen and smiled....when he winked at her but no one else could see him do it and when he held her hand when they were standing looking at the big screen in front of them.....I giggled at each scene. My weekends haven't been this good since Vincenzo. Come on Saturday!!!
just finished episode 42........somebody shoot me now. I've stuck it out for 42 episodes and can't believe I'm going to drop this with just 8 more episodes to go but it's time to admit that this has got to be the most aggravating drama out there. Can't stand the biological mother, the step mother, the pretend fiance anf the wacko that stole steph mother's $$$. My head just can't take any more - I'm done!
I hope everyone puts in their ratings after they're done crying. I think this deserves a 9.0 at the end pf the…
I agree - this drama is right up there as one of my top 5 all time favorites. Something about it just hit every thing I look for in kdramas. I'm sad it's over.
Not much of a spoiler but I'll mark it a spoiler just in case.
Loved the way they wrapped up the ML's in this drama - may just be my all time favorite endings of all time....altough I do hate the years long gap to get to the ending - this always aggravates the crap out of me and I don't get why they think it needs to be written in like that.
I do wish they would have gone a little farther on the final scenes with Jo Woong and Chae Ran and also Eun Ho and Sol Yi......
I'll rate this drama in my top 5 favorite of all time..........will re-watch it over and over again.
I laughed out loud a couple of times during episode 13.....great humor to break up the suspense.
I think this drama will end with both leads dead. I don't see any way around them ever escaping. Soo Ho because, you know, he's a NK spy - and Young Ro because she hid the spy at first and then the protected him. I hope I'm wrong..........somebody please tell me I'm wrong!!!
Another episode that left me breathless. At this point I can see this drama going in any direction and each character has the potential to stab the next in the back. I can't for the life of me figure out where it's going to end up. And to add - just when I think I've seen the best acting out of Jung Hae In, he goes beyond that a couple of minutes later....he is definitely one of the best actors I've ever seen - and not just in KDramas.
This drama is damn good!
Highly recommend
