OK OK!!! I was wrong to drop this. A friend told me I should check it out again - I just binged ep 5-12 and OMFG ....I ADMIT I WAS DEAD WRONG.
This is one psychological power play. I didn't like it when SangSoo started dating MiKyung cause I knew he wasn’t over SooYoung and to date someone to replace who you really wanted to date is a dick move. SooYoung was a total bitch when she saw SangSoo hesitate out the window and didn't wait around to find out why. MiKyung was manupulative from the first time she was on the screen. JongHyun has always been really creepy to me. Even though I didn't like SangSoo when he was with the MiKyung and he was emotionally cheating (I hate cheaters and this was the main reason why I dropped this drama), I started to feel for his situation and felt total sympathy. I could see how conflicted he was. I screamed at the end of episode 10 and I thought "finally". But that's when the psychological warfare reared it’s ugly head in full military battle.
Skip to episode 12 - SooYoung called KyungPil and asked if they could meet....(and I thought she was calling SangSoo at first). He had told her earlier about how he had sex withMiKyung's friends. I think it gave SooYoung the idea of how to get SangSoo to stop his obsession before it ruins his career. She destroyed the castle before someone else gets destroyed...and her too. I hope she didn’t have sex with HyungPil!
Was a little confused about the opening scene of episode 11 - did they end up in the hotel room after the ice rink or was it one of them wishful thinking or a sneak park of something to come????
Just started this!! The 1st episode sure takes me back….the poop, the pain and thought I was dying. Years later and my hubs still reminds me. And the thing about not remembering the pain once you see your baby…all lies!!!! I can still feel it like it was yesterday but it’s totally indescribable. Sort of like if you put your fingers in the corners of your mouth, now stretch your lips all the way up to your forehead and then keep going to the back of your head.
Just finished this. Some parts I really loved but some parts I didn't like at all. The misunderstanding around ep 17 was stupid and I was ready to drop the drama cause I was just over it. Loved the ending though - one of the sweetest endings I've seen in a long time. I think the drama ended with the 2nd leads open ended in case they wanted a season 2. I give it a 7.8
This one has been on my watch list forever and finally binged the last couple of days. The bullying bothered me a lot and the lack of accountability was hard to watch. Enjoyed the drama but the writer failed on so many levels. I did love ML, 2ML and 2FL and all their weirdness. Yim Si Wan played a similar character in Summer Strike - kind of mysterious but so damn cute you can overlook the weirdness.
Just watched ep 5 & 6 and decided I’m dropping. I’ll pick it up later when I’m not feeling frustrated with the what I’m watching. All the leads are making me crazy…..it’s absolute torture. Sad because I’m a HUGE Yoo Yeon Seok fan and was soooo looking forward to this drama but I can’t take it. I’ll keep it on my may watch later when I’m desperate but right now there’s just too many good dramas out there that I’m more excited about.
I’m finding that more than the first kiss between GNT and CX I can’t wait till the asshole Jiang is charged with criminal activity and getting booted out of the company.
Overall - I enjoyed the drama but the ending just fell flat at the very last minute. It had so much potential but it left me wanting more…..maybe a couple of years later and there’s a proposal…..a few years later and we see the ML’s with their children…..or I would have been happy with a single kiss. Just something more. I loved the scene with the shadows when they’re whispering….so good….that scene is what left me wanting more.
Ep 14 on Dramacool posted yesterday but no subs yet. I’ve refreshed 100 times but ugh!!! Tease much!!!! I may watch without subs and make up my own translation….ha!!!
The synopsis kind of turned me off - even though I’m a huge YYS fan I didn’t think I’d be interested in this at all but the first episode got me hooked!! Loved it 😍😍
I cannot wait - 6 more days till I binge watch from start to finish. There's been very few dramas that I've waited to binge on but I knew from the beginning with this cast, this writer and this director that Reborn Rich was going to be something special and didn't want to go thru the agony of waiting days between episodes. Beyone excited!!!
