When I've processed everything I will rewatch and see if I change a different view on things but I really loved this serious. I wish I hadn't watched each episode as it was released - this is the type of drama that should be binge watched so everything is fresh. Also, they were still filming just a few weeks ago and although the ending was satisfying I wonder if the writers changed the ending because of the feedback they'd been reading. PJW never got an apology but he doesn't need one for him to be happy. Jae-won was a difficult character to pull off - JCW was phenomenal and the perfect actor for this role. The music was some of the best I've seen in a kdrama. One last bit - I read that episode 17 will focus on Minho's first date....can't wait for that.
I always want a happy ending which usually means the ML's end up together but with this drama, starting with ep4, I wanted JW to dump EO's ass brutally hard and move on.....I didn't think there was any way for EO to redeem herself. After ep15, I didn't think I'd see a side of EO that I could understand....
I keep seeing that this will be released on 1/8/21 which is today but can't find where I can watch it. So excited…
I’m still not able to watch. I get a popup about Dramacool being an unsafe streaming service on phone or laptop - an episode will start and then gets blocked. Frustrating.
Just finished ep8! I boohooed like a baby when he was pleading with her not to go...heartbreaking. JCW is a phenomenal actor and his portrayal of Jae Won is so believable. The way they're shooting the drama in a documentary style is so refreshing and different and it's really drawing me in.
I love the ML's but I'm not sure where this is going. #1 - I want Eun Oh to suffer for making Jae Won look so pathetic. I want Jae Won to grow some and make her suffer even more.
JCW said himself he doesn't want to be branded as an action drama actor. He wants to do other things and he decided…
@OneAjhussi. JCW is a favorite of mine in action dramas and his comedic roles - especially brilliant in My Suspicious Partner. Ep2 of Backstreet Rookie was a little better than ep1 and I will definitely watch and I have confidence it will be a great show till the end. I can't get enough of him
I think Chang Wook is an exceptional actor and not sure why he or his management team would think this would be a good fit for him. Yes, it has the comedic script that he's so good at doing (his facial expressions and stutters crack me up every time), but this is just not the best for him. I was soooo looking forward to watching this but not this way. Disappointed! I will probably watch all the way to the end.....hoping it will turn around.
Also, Kim Yoo Jung's character was was a high school student when SHE kissed HIM but she was of a legal age when the movie was shot so not bothered by it at all.
I'm sorry if this has already been asked and answered. Where can I watch this in the US. Keep seeing that it's going to be on Netflix but not on Netflix feed.
