What are you talking about?? The CGI was good... Most of the the 2017-2018 Chinese dramas have amazing CGI.
No need to be a jerk when expressing your opinions. Fantasy c-drama is not your cup of tea. Something you may like might be ridiculous to me. I still won't judge you for having low standards just because I don't like it.
Didnt enjoy the LA episodes, I found them cringing AF. Why would they let sung Jae get those ridiculous braids, come on. You should’ve brought them to NYC!!!
Sooooooo many plot holes... But, I can’t stop watching it. The funny thing is I keep catching so many unedited parts and I keep lol about them. Also, how can they get great CGI, but not a decent wig for the main character lmao. Plus pay attention to the extras in the background trying to standout lol...anyways, I will finish it, but the plot holes keep making it hard to enjoy it.
Hated the emperor until the end. I Wished they writers didn’t follow history and would make Ruyi aggressive. My heart broke for her. It was a good drama but it did not leave me sastified.
So glad Netflix is giving us more Asian dramas... So far I'm loving this one. I keep LOL every time Ning Yi tries to act innocent in front of everybody in court. Also, love his flirting smirks and eyes when talking to her... But I gotta admit that Nan Yi got my heart.
I also don't like the emperor and I am sure Ruyi will soon have great difficulties as an empress and he won't…
OMG I was thinking the same thing. I want her to somehow end outside the palace and marry the guard. I saw the connection they had when she was I'm the cold palace. I really hope she doesn't end with the emperor.
The empress coronation was beautiful...I still find her too docile and kind. After all she has been through, I wanna see a tough side of her. I still don't like the THOT emperor. I think he might do something that would make her snap (I hope so).
I find the sisterhood bond between Lady Hai and Ru Yi the best part of this drama.
Ikr, I just love it. I liked when Lady Hai said that she only needs the 3 of them to be happy. The only reason why she slept with the emperor was to have a child was so she could share motherhood with Ru Yi.

Only watched it because Lee Sang Yoon... I found the drama so boring... I hit fast forward the entire time. The only reason why I didn't drop it was 'cuz his captivating stares (I'm watching Master in the House).
Loved it! From beginning to end... It kept me looking forward the next episode. The final episode was so intense that it gave me anxiety. Jesus Christ, I kept pausing just to catch my breath... Very emotional... FUN FACT: Ethan didn't know how to be flirty prior to this drama. Yang Mi saw how awkward he was so she taught him how to really flirt with a woman. He found the whole teaching mind-blowing... Well Ethan, you get a A+ in flirting class.
