what’s the role of the character “Xiao Qian Qing” in this? does he have a love interest? could use the help
He’s Xiao Huan’s brother. They have a slightly fractious relationship in the beginning due to XQQ’s mother but he becomes one of Xiao Huan’s biggest supporter. He does have a love interest- Zhong Lin. He probably has the best character design in the show but I prefer the book version of him.
It’s okay to promote your fave without lying or stepping on others. Anyone who can say Peng Xiao Ran is a wooden actress must not have watched the show and I don’t understand the obsession with using this angle. That marketing tactic didn’t work in China and it won’t work here. 😂 Peng Xiao Ran’s crying game is so on point, people literally make edits of just her crying scenes.
I love that she handles her shit like a grown women and is true to herself! I was so happy when i saw her official…
🤝 I agree. I really can’t understand why they’re attacking her. Artists are humans first. Rather than hide things and continue to reinforce toxic fan culture, she’s woman enough to say she will have more identities in the future in addition to being a host and actress. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it and I don’t understand when becoming a wife or a mother became a crime for an actress. Don’t the fans have mothers? Aren’t some of them even married? Do they exclude themself from being a strong woman just because of their relationship status?
If they sincerely wished her relationship well, the studio’s post shouldn’t have angered them. Her asking them to give her a break shouldn’t have angered them either. She has 6 million + fans. I don’t doubt some of them were sending ugly messages because even in the public spaces some of the comments were awful. They keep saying they didn’t attack her at the start and the hot search topic of them attacking her was unfair but why start attacking her then? Now they’ve made it true. I saw the comments and even saw some fans trying to doxx her bf, who isn’t in the industry, and it was really vile. The worst was watching the more well known fans open the floodgates against her and even encouraging other fans to scold her. I’ve been genuinely worried for her well-being for the past few weeks.
Because I haven't watched this version could someone tell me what they cut out from here that made it into the…
I believe the director’s cut fleshed out Li Chengyin’s character and motivations a bit more. There’s also some differences in music selection which give some scenes in the director’s cut more emotional weight than in the original version.
Yes! She looks so cool in every scene! The cinematography also looks a little exciting so it’s easier to do edits. I loved the opening. It sounded cool but I hope she’ll get to use her original voice in the end.
I wish her happiness. I hope the guy treats her well. And that this news will not affect her career badly. 🙏
Yes, as long as Ranzi is happy that is all that matters. I can’t understand the fans telling her to break up. It’s not for fans to decide who is a good partner- only Xiao Ran can do that.
I love that she handles her shit like a grown women and is true to herself! I was so happy when i saw her official…
Yes, this is her most beautiful and charming aspect. It’s just a shame that her fans can’t see this sometimes. They’re throwing a lot of nasty words her way because of a studio post made and it’s so disheartening.
I will always admire Peng Xiao Ran, a star who can be so open and honest in an industry filled with smoke and mirrors. I truly wish her all the best in life and love and look forward to her future roles. Please see her official announcement below: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/5333930654042232
I agree. He really shouldn’t have posted that, especially considering the sometimes harsh environment for actresses…
I don’t blame you for being afraid. His casts are good looking but they appear sickly to me when I watch his dramas and it’s unbearable to see such beautiful people look so lifeless. He has had this obsession with losing weight for so many years now but how many iconic looks has it produced? From all the young actresses he has filmed in recent years, almost none of their best and most iconic looks are from his dramas.
Finally a new Wei drama! And Aimi really? I didn’t expect that at all!But I really didn’t like the remark…
I agree. He really shouldn’t have posted that, especially considering the sometimes harsh environment for actresses on the rise. It’s so annoying, especially considering that he himself hasn’t filmed any actresses particularly well since his Tiny Times days. She’s 18. If there’s any fat, it’s baby fat, which is natural at this stage and puts her inline with Tao Yao’s youthful appearance. If the costumes look bulky on camera, either choose better shooting angles/lighting or tailor or style the clothes to reduce bulk. Starving artists won’t solve a lack of skills.
The author still blogs about the characters and it’s fascinating because even though she is the original creator, everyone feels OOC now 😅. I can’t go back from the more complex and complicated characters the drama introduced.
