The moment I saw the rating is 8.5, I know ppl will immediately mention it here.
As we know, never trust the rating here, it totally doesn’t make sense when our rating sub-categories is almost on par with The Untamed, with many more comments than that one (to balance the lower watchers count), that this series doesn’t get higher as it deserves (9.0).
Just to let everyone know too that OhmNanon's UpVel is likely to come out on 28 March or 29 March. It was in GMMTV's IG post from two weeks ago (before the reveal of UpVel) - it was mentioned there as a new program.
Plus Nanon also mentioned in ArmShare reveal of UpVel that it's gonna start in late March.
Just a quick update from the stats department (before the full update later on this week)
Was going through 2gether and Still 2gether, and I just wanna say that these two series still steams forward in viewership (I'm not surprised)
2gether now has 627.5M views (up by almost 30M from 1.5 months ago, and up by 130M from end August 2021 when I began compiling my top series comparison data)
Still 2gether now has 163M views (up by about 10M from 1.5 months ago, and about 23M from end August 2021) - note that it has only 5 episodes
As comparison, Bad Buddy increased from about 120M 1.5 months ago to about 144M today (an increase of about 25M)
In my opinion it wouldn't really matter if they choose a different scene for BB. Fans of OhmNanon and Bad Buddy…
I agree with you and Elektraa. It's quite obvious too that OffGun has a much more established fanbase, given that they and their fanclub have been around since Puppy Honey back in 2016, almost 6 years ago, when OhmNanon were pretty much for a long time just a ghost ship until recently.
I'm not surprised that more fans of OffGun would have voted. Nothing wrong, it's just facts as you mentioned. It's never really objective in the end, anyway.
Too bad Gun isn't in the running for the actor one.Also, if Bad Buddy somehow got the best scene I'd be kind of…
Timing is also important. Not Me is currently airing so it has a big advantage. They should have done this after all the series to be voted have completed airing (and give some cooldown time).
When the dust have settled, it is a fairer comparison, as viewers will likely have a more objective opinion when rating or choosing completed series rather than ongoing one vs those already completed.

Well, regardless, Bad Buddy is still very phenomenal considering it's a Thai BL series. MDL has been well known to favour very heavily Chinese and Korean dramas, and those tend to have much higher number of watchers too. So its achievements here in MDL is still stellar, and comparable to Immortality's own one ):)
Immortality is highly expected to do very well and have tons of comments here when it eventually airs, whereas Bad Buddy? No one, myself included, expected it. I didn't even expect it to have 10% of what it has now. ):)
I am in the midst of updating my top Thai BL series by viewers in YouTube again. This time I am trying to see if I can incorporate the length of time since finale to compare their relative popularity.

Not to stir hornet’s nest and this one was mentioned before, but if only Kazz Awards 2022 chose another scene like the EP 5 rooftop scene, Bad Buddy would have come first.
Don’t get me wrong - I love that tin can phone scene in the end of EP 12, and that tin can is really unique in showing just how long-lasting their relationship had been since their early childhood, but viewers wise, unfortunately this would not likely stand against Not Me’s pride flag scene.
Just offering my thoughts. (Anyway, voting is still open I believe, you can still vote on it.)

Ships usually refer to the fact that even when the two actors may not be in real relationship, but they were imagined to be in that relationship (hence ship for the short form of relationship), and the pun on the word ship links to the ship having 'sailed' meaning that this 'imagined' relationship is currently working, at least in people's minds.
