'Human perception and first impressions, and how it affects popularity of BL series'
I am thinking that at least a significant part of how popular a series is can be influenced by its title, trailer and the synopsis (which do not reveal the entirety of the story)
Most popular series among the Thai BL series generally have very positive sounding titles, example: 2gether, Theory of Love, Dark Blue Kiss (plus its earlier Kiss Me Again though it wasn't pure BL), Love by Chance, I Told Sunset About You, I Promised You The Moon, among others
While series like Bad Buddy and Not Me has that negative connotations from the name, the negative words being used which might have subconsciously affected the potential audience psyche that probably deter some from watching. Not Me's rather heavy and political-sensitive issues laden content also contribute to this. Again, it all boils down to individual preferences - more people simply prefer to watch and rewatch lighthearted things.
(The word 'buddy' for example is perhaps part of the reason why some initially refused to believe OhmNanon pairing will work, and it gave a false impression that they were buddies rather than romantic couple - whereas after Bad Buddy we know that Buddy to Pat and Pran didn't mean 'buddy' at all, it's totally romantic and love-filled for them)
Bad Buddy also suffered quite badly in its first few episodes from the lack of support, and those who were here in this page since the beginning will remember just what kind of opposition this series was facing back then, in the first two and three episodes.
Still on the topic of GMMTV support on their series, which is rather lacking - that's what happens when they adopt…
On a hindsight, a few years ago, before 2016-2017 this would have been unimaginable. Back then, we were considered very fortunate if we can even grasp at some scraps of BL contents in Thai series, or enjoying some early initiators like Love Sick and My Bromance (plus The Love of Siam from back then)
This bloom of BL genre in Thailand for the past few years have been wonderful, and in conjunction with the release of more similar contents from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and even HK, it had made the Asian BL and LGBT world to be much richer than how it was just 5 or so years ago.
Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are, and we end up demanding more. We do have to be careful at times not to end up ruining all these gains overnight.
(Link to what happened to Addicted and others in China - whereas Not Me has touched particularly sensitive topic in Thailand, and while Thailand is comparatively much more tolerant than China in LGBT matters, yet, if certain series pulled the wrong strings, it might end up in negative impact on the rest of the industry, which certainly we don't want to happen)
Still on the topic of GMMTV support on their series, which is rather lacking - that's what happens when they adopt a rather loose hold on their actors and production team.
In my opinion, GMM feels like a large umbrella organisation overseeing various projects (that can be overwhelmingly many), which is why, sometimes people may think that they are not promoting their favourite series enough (but most other GMMTV series experienced that too, and Bad Buddy suffered this quite badly too)
The good thing is that, this allows the actors like Ohm and Nanon to be quite free in what they wanted to do (that Up Vel is really so them), and the directors have relative freedom in deciding the direction of their series (like what P'Aof did for Bad Buddy and P'Nuchy did for Not Me).
Plus, at least we do have to be thankful that the current GMM management is open to explore more BL and LGBT related contents, as opposed to discouraging them as what happened in Mainland China and some other places. I only hope that Bad Buddy can set a precedent in pushing GMM to up their standard of their series more (and this can be done by increasing their level of support), and series like Not Me can further inspire future series to incorporate various relevant real issues.

I like Dark Blue Kiss one too, unfortunately, because this list is for the top by numbers, it somehow didn't have the numbers to be here (although I'm being subjective here, I purposely cut the list at around just below 10 million where Just Friend is, otherwise, there will be a hundred more below that, and it's really hard to list them down in order)

My only hope is that (coz I try my best not to read too much into it), I hope Not Me fans are not especially incensed at GMMTV that Bad Buddy has BadBuddyIllumination and the reveal of OhmNanon Up Vel, especially considering that the hashtag began trending right around the time when BadBuddyIllumination started and ArmShare episode was out just a while ago.
We have faced the same issues too, and it was mostly fans all around the world that drove the popularity of Bad Buddy skywards, with GMMTV only coming in almost very late to the party near the very end of the series' airing in January 2022.

It's quite ok to me. Not up to Bad Buddy level of course, but quite fine in quality. People's opinions are rather divided though, if you look at their MDL page.

Even their support for OhmNanon and Bad Buddy (with all the flood of recent events and the announcement of OhmNanon Up Vel reality show) were rather belated and reactive (but I'm grateful nonetheless that they supported in the end).
I do wish for Not Me to be more popular too, but in the end, just my personal thoughts, but part of the lower viewership is more because of the genre of the series rather than unavailability in some countries in YouTube or lack of full support. Just Taiwanese film like YNEH alone is able to top all the Thai series mentioned above, with the Jolin Tsai x Hebe Tien and Mayday versions holding strong against the top Thai ones too.
Considering how the non-BL Taiwanese film OSTs by Hebe Tien's own A Little Happiness (小幸運) in Our Times and Hu Xia's Those Bygone Years (那些年) in You are the Apple of My Eye have been viewed over 187 million and 173 million views, mainland BL series OST in their own platforms (if there's any) would have dwarfed all these OSTs, Taiwanese ones included, by a very huge margin.
