Then later in the mortal realm he steals a treasure from the ML and is acting somewhat sus but not quite evil...

But I also saw a clip somewhere that he helps the leads somehow...

What about the Northern Sea Lord? The one celestial who saved ML when he got attacked near the beginning of his mortal trials? He should've recognized Ying Deng during the 4 Seas War Arc...

Ying Deng in mortal realm instantly recognized FL and ML.
But Yu Mo doesn't recognize ML or Ying Deng

And they both have intact memories

I don't understand how some ppl recognize the deities in the mortal realm easily while others have no idea...
