I tried my best to understand FL's backstory from the RAWS:

-She's from a special bloodline that was hunted down by some people.
-In order to protect her, her mother created a substitute body for her that kind of divided her special bloodline. Only when the original body dies will the substitute become the new original with the bloodline intact.
-The original body (pre-merge) was then sent to the Wu tribe while the substitute (who doesn't have a proper developed mind of her own) was sent to the general of the Yi Kingdom.


Please let me know if there are errors in my understanding and if anyone can give a better explanation, please do... lol

So there is no suicide in this drama? Cause in the original Korean version, the FL committed suicide which is what the ML tries to prevent.
