It seems to me that DongHua's tribulations will have his mortal self realize FengJiu is in love with someone else (his godly self) and possibly die of heartbreak due to this realization. He might even assume she was using him since he resembled the person she truly loved.
This is all speculation but I think this sort of plot makes sense... :P

Considering how the father could float down the house with qi (or whatever they're calling it), I'm pretty sure he at the very least used to be a Heavenly Soldier or has some way to manipulate the Penglai energy
From the trailer of episode 31, it looks like Lin Xia truly is Xiao Zhou's reincarnation... They appear to have the same father at least. Perhaps the father knows a way to turn human?
