I watched this series and felt conflicted. It felt like there was really something there, something intriguing…
I am usually very severe with poor scenarios … somehow … well there are defaults but I wasn’t too shocked for this one.
I like the atmosphere and I got hooked on the revenge journey.
But … I will definitely say that the episode one was really a strong point to get me on board.
I think I can understand that you felt like a let down afterward. … at least you got the Manwha out of this. A good story is always a positive experience. :)

I wouldn't say for no reason since officially his debt keeps on piling up ! ahah 🤣
Ahahah 😂
Yes when Jay said that he will add some to the debt, it made me
laugh. I think by the time Sun will get where he want to be he will have the equivalent of the nation GPD to pay.

Ended up doing a gif of it :

I've never seen proper Flashbacks in any recent (thaï) drama ... And for so many, so many, drama, we keep having…
The imaginary scene really took me aback. 😆
Well … it was probably meant to be confusing so it becomes a strong cliffhanger but my first reaction wasn’t one of wondering but a plain on : Did they mess up the editing ?
😆

I started watching today and Ep 1's editing is terrible. It kept on reusing shots and scenes so somehow it messes…

And for so many, so many, drama, we keep having flashbacks of things that literally happened one or 2 scenes ago ... I mean ... we do remember. It's not like it's the episode of last week or not even beginning of the episode. *facepal*

I get that Sunny is supposed to be the villain here. To me though, the bigger villain is the industry and what…
I guess on Sun's level, Sunny is the villain but there is indeed a way bigger and dirtier villain.

Interestingly you have some :
- Alan Smithee (which case is somewhat close to the one here, creating someone who actually doesn't exist to hide)
- Aki Hamazi / Gotouge Koyoharu
or just think of Banksy (who actually is not only a WORLDWIDE famous artist who was on the streets painting ... but funnily, also made a movie)

3 and a bonus ... that's a really interesting subject.
I think mostly you don't have ones because people want or don't mind a picture and or the fame.
Just as much as for the singers, when you want, it's not easy nowadays, but you can hide. Even easier to hide someone who doesn't exist.

hmmm that actually happens. WHen I was answering you I was especially thinking of Peter Jackson who actually always works with his wife but the wife refuse to be a public figure. She has always been working with him but she decided to remain unknown to the public.

There are a few artist like this that found tricks to stay hidden. There was a super famous French duet : Daft PUnk that were public figures but managed to keep their faces unknown with a trick of their own.

For a long time Sia was doing the same.

Here Jay pretend that he's just one of the main partner but that Arthur is someone else. His trick.

So moral is, SA is only wrong and disgusting if the perpetrators or old and fat and ugly! If its a young conventionally…
Hey there,
First, thank you for your comment. It's always important to voice out things that seem wrong. I would like to share my reading with you because I think you're pointing out real things but somehow I think there are a few nuances that might explain part of fact that viewers weren't rooting more easily for Jay than ... the other guys.

(just to get things out, the girl is pimped out not by her real grand-mather but by her sugar daddy. The way I see it is that she is thick skinned and she probably accepted that this was how to get through things if she wanted to become an actress. Not that I think that the system is right but for me I don't think she's pityful here ... and she doesn't seem affected by the situation she's more a "whatever, can't be bothered by that" type of girl. She's real tough. I actually think she was cool in a way... she was always keeping her cool indeed)

Then,
I think the way it was shot make it easier for viewers to go with Jay's behaviour compared to the 3 old guys is really the circumstances. First scene, Sun was supposedly going out for a drink with his classmates, turn out he was lured into a trap where he was alone facing 5 persons in total and one putting a gun on his head. That certainly give another level of violence to the setting.
Meanwhile, ep. 5, Sun was up to meet Arthur and eventually ready to 'give his body' and ends up that he ended up with Jay ... with who he had already shared a kiss... but this past shared kiss was also pushed on him, I totally agree.

So even if it was a tribunal, the band teaming up to trap an unwilling guy and threatening him with a gun would be condamned on a whole different level.

But ... you are very right, Jay still acts pretty much like a red flag. I think it's tolerated because viewers know that they have a past history, that he is protecting Sun and mostly that they have to end up together. That said, IRL, this would be a NO NO NO. Because Jay is forcing his way.

And yes also, probably, sadly, there is a halo effect. Here an attractiveness bias (or to put it simply the 'pretty privilege') that makes people unconsciously think that pretty is good ugly is bad. SOmeone with a cute face can't harm you, someone ugly is suspicious. That's saddly in human nature but indeed a good reminder that appearances are just that ... appearances.

why does Sunny still not know who Sun is??? Pakin (the #1 photographer in Thailand) already took Sun's photo and…
Sunny at this point was mostly targetting Kajorn so 'the new kid' is a way to get back at Kajorn but not his real main purpose that's why he missed spots.

... Or he knows the picture but they don't know that the kid in Pakin photoshoot is the kid he is looking for ...

But I agree, for me too, it seems there is a weakness in the scenario there.

Does Sun know google exist? He could google how Arthur looks like. Google is free.

(example the girl and the grandfather)
Director Arthur stays in the shadow. Some people do that. They have a representative that is the face of the company but they want to stay anonymous.
So this is how it goes there.
It works pretty well here because even if paparazzi were to try to catch a picture of Arthur they would only get a picture of the representative ... because ...

Min is 178 and Toptap is 186! (confirmed by themselves)you had pretty good guesses tbh🤭imo they look taller…
Yeah they do look tall.
I could tell they had a 8cm gap probably ... I call that the "golden ratio" XDD
I mean it's usually what gets everyone says that a pair has a perfect height balance. it's usually a 7-8cm.
Then Min seem a little bit smaller than boss who is officially 182 ...

but I couldn't find any official information so thanks because at that point I was curious about that. Because only beside Toptap, Min seem "small but any other time he does seem tall. So he had to be at least above 175 ...

... weirdly I still keep on thinking that Sun Sky would be a good pair ... but I also consider Sky with the photograph XD

Btw I started "Edge of the horizon" ... might be okay~ish and "Unfold" has potential for interesting scenario ... not sure how it will go but potential is here.

Height wise ...

if trying to compare with actors for who we know the height.

I would guess Min is 180~cm ... I would say Toptap is 187~188cm

Can we reach a consensus ?

P.S I like the Uncle-tailor ... always a wardrobe at reach ... just in case he has to dress up random people hanging in the corridors of the club !
But somehow it felt likely to happen. ! :3
