The make up and the perfect hair ... yes ... but as you said, there are some trope that we are used to accept for the sake of story telling.
ANd you're right we have to ... go with some ... of those and pretend it could happen because "story" but ...

(Actually hospital for a scratch is starting to be indeed too much) but ... I find it not respectuous and not serious to propose stories with nothing making sens.
As I was saying, it wouldn't prevent the story to happen if they wash with water instead of putting powder but it would improve the quality as making the drama more serious.
The camp door that is never locked (and really look carton but the carton part ... it's part of things we should accept) but what would it cost to pretend there is a chain or a code to lock it. They are supposed to be under attack which is why they have zombies in the barbed wire in episode 1 or 2 and why they have those barbed wire to start with.

To make little things a bit more true, believable, serious wouldn't cost anything, wouldn't prevent the story from happening, but would make it a more qualitative drama.
SOmething where you can tell ... they may not have the budget to buildsets out of anything but carton but at least the story is made in a way that respects the audience (and the story itself really)

Some people have good stories, proper dedication to make it right and have zero zero budget to even do half what was spent on this set. I saw fanmade homade stories where they didn't have much budget or material and even 10 years ago with way less computer's help but they were telling proper stories.

I hear what you say and I appreciate the fact that you can intereact without getting into personnal attack ... but ... yes, for me it's not serious and it wouldn't change anything to just do the job they are supposed to do.
Because that's their job.

Well tetanus shot ... in a world surviving apocalypse, might be hard to access an hospital ... but rinse with water ...

It's a drama about survival ... don't do a drama about survival if you don't even know about washing with water.
I mean even my nephew of 4 know how to wash his hands.

It's really a waste to do things almost okay, with actors perfectly decently acting but a scenario filled with nonsensical scenes ...

(if it was just about a tetanus shot ... and this, actually, it make sens that lost in the wood you might not be able to do one ... it's apocalypse ...

Beside this actually what you need is :
- Leave the nail during transportation (exept if it prevents easy transportation)
- Rinse with lot of watters.
- disinfectant. (and actually not powder on dirty wound that you would bandage on)
- tetanus shot if you haven't done one in the past 10 years ... but that's if there are still hospital.
- immunoglobuline shot (that is if you have access to hospital)

... but honestly. Just not pretending a haert will restart with cardiac massage, and just rinse with water.

I am not reviewing it like a meedical paper.
I haven't done 10 y ears study. It's just basic knowledge.
ANd credibility is important for quality.
They really didn't need to do much of any efforts ... or if they have no common sens maybe just do something they are able to do.

And yes I think it's sad because beside that actors seems to do a decent job. Just the scenario is full of absurdity. Not high knowledge little details ... just plain on stupidity.

It quite sad that .... for a SURVIVAL based drama .... zero very simple research was made into actual basic medical anything.

Thanks thanks it is not real and HAS ZERO likely real background because I wouldn't bet on their survival with how they deal with anything.

Very sad that they didn't do their homework even just slightly ...

I have a hard time with lazy scenarists who wrote total unlikely stories.

Actors are trying through the mess though.

Dunno if I mentioned. Nour is also one I appreciate at the moment but … I think payback was better still. But Nour has good potential.

I would have go a little bit higher for their honest efforts in many aspects but basically quite agreeing on your analysis :)

Finding whole supplies of edible food while everyone is probably fighting to find food for years … I have doubts but why not.

Not even to mention that is not the way to do a cardiac massage ... but a massage and/or a (wrong) mouth breathing never restart the heart.
