Funny, I was actually thinking about this while watching episode this afternoon.
Between his manipulative agressivee father and his manipulativee reproachful mother the poor has really no parent to look up to or to turn for affection.
... XD

I think they will but somehow ... since last episode I see something else in this drama ... an example that somehow, sometimes in life you might come to a point where you don't remember the details or even the name or the face of the one you love but somehow .. the feeling and the trust will resurface.

I think you can actually not watch ep. 9 and it would make still make sens.
Especially if you watched episode 10 first, episode 9 might feel like a filler.

For me it was important because we get more into their emotions. We get that Wan Zhe genuinely miss Hama-chan and decides he will fight for him, we get to see Xiaoyong also desesperatly trying to fight but feeling that the more he fights the more he gets erased and that's the moment he decides to not run around crazily all over the places anymore.

Also there is that thing with brother Hong which, in my opinion, will come back in the last 2 episodes ... that's the way I see it.

But it's more about emotional journey of the character. ^_-

I am usually into second couple syndrome ... for once I am also into first couple.
But I have to say "hi" to my fellow SCS friends !

(at least, in this drama, second couple doees have a proper story with leegit screentime) ^_-

Well, episode 9 he is "back in square one" has everyone said and felt but he felt it too.
For him it's the second time he has everyone forgetting him. He fought a first time, second time he went running all over the island but even his best friend don't remember him and he couldn't find Brother Hong and even caused trouble for Hao Wei and Daddy He ...
The scene on the rooftop under the rain tell his feeling. He feels a bit tired, he tried a first time and then now it's not only that people can't recognize him, people forgot about Xiaoyong existence ... and first time his best friend was still remembering but now even his best friened can't remember.
The moment of the rooftop he probably feels the more he tries the worst it gets. Thats what he says "anyway you won't believe me" or "it's pointless" and there is an important sentence : "everyone forgot about me, everyone forgot about Xiaoyong" (metaphoricaly he even distances himself from himself)
But also you can see somewhere he still has that hope that Haowei will remember him. Episode 9 and 10 asking him about the dejà-vu and the dreams ...

It's a bit frustrating but it will (hopefully) unfold in episode 11 and 12. We have many things that already appeared. Uncle Hua who already knows about the wish, now Haowei knows too, the dad that remembers about the closet, there might still be Xixi and Brother Hong ... I'm pretty sure he will appear again) but we have to see what the scenarist had in mind.

Good ep 10 on general story,
just as for me I didn't really felt any build up emotion between Wan Zhe and Hama-chan.
not as perfect strangers but not as spark of liking.
But still like the build up of general story.

It's worst than that it's you like me, I like you ... you should date my brother ... in which way is that a good idea XDD

yes some action seem hard to follow ... but yes still I can't prevent myself to biaisly like them no matter what. 💕

And if you think how devoted he is to protect his brother when from an oustider point of view Lu Fen doesn't indeed seem to act properly or even ... plain on didn't act properely (because in the office he ... di what he did and don't think there is much consent even though we don't ponder on it much)

I like that aspect of the little brother that fights to protect his big brother from a toxic bf.

... but I also get ... I kind of wanted to get him a bucket of cold water over his head in the first episodes when he came up with the great idea to match his crush who loves him with his brother ... stupidest idea of the year -___-'
