This is by far the best Korean Horror drama ever.
So this season we got myriad of Korean horror dramas. It's like all the Director's and writer's got together and thought let's just bring the horror genre to Korea and simultaneously many networks released some good horror dramas (still are : The Priest) Many were hits and few were misses but compared to the previous record that Korean held with Korean horror DRAMAS (not movies) this year was actually good.
SO in order to stand out from this long list of horror dramas one had to do well. The guest? doe waaaaay more than good. From the first episode itself it manages to grasp us and not let go. The plot line is nowhere cliche and the characters are very well fleshed out. One thing I liked was that they kept us guessing till the last episode. Personally I feel the last episode was somewhat lacking compared to the rest of the series but it does not make anything less boring. The plot was always moving fast and the story was engaging at its best. One thing I loved is the fact that they managed to give a story with consistent characters. Yes sometimes the female detective was annoying as hell but other than that the friendship and bromance they managed to build in this was wonderful.
Another thing I absolutely loved was the message the director wanted to give us. If you see the ending credits the director clearly states it. It was for the people to know the ugly truth of fellow people. It was not the demons that made those people do what they did but it was their evil nature that they were harboring inside which led the demons take control. The suppressed emotions deep inside. So it is not the demons we should be afraid of but rather the people. Who have the ability to bring such evilness out to this world.

PS- I would recommend this drama to anyone easily why? Because one of my non kdrama fan (actually she really doesn't like them) saw me watching this and thought it was interesting and sat down and watched it with me. She went crazy. She scolded me for watching this without her also. She was that engrossed in this!!! So freely recommend this guys!
Also once you are done go check the BTS of this drama to see the cute chemistry between Kim Jae Wook and Kim Dong Wook and how cutely Kim Jae Wook is around Jung Eun Chae. Actually all three have amazing chemistry going on (I meant in the sense of friendship) their sets are always having fun.

This is those few feel good movies that make you slightly smile and cry slightly too. You won't bawl your eyes out for this but you may laugh out loud sometimes. It sure does teach you a good lesson though. That you need to forgive and move on or you would miss out a lot in life. This is one of those movies that teach you that.

Also in a plus point it's nice to see that Kim Go Eun has put on a little weight. It looks cute on her.

The addition off rap in to the story was pretty cool. A good twist from other stories. Won't say it was a super memorable story but a nice one nonetheless.

First of all the actors aren't that young and doesn't seem to be that experienced either? I mean maybe it was the script. I wouldn't say I completely hated. It was enjoyable for the most parts and it just didn't stand out I guess. There were some funny moments but most of the funny parts just didn't make me laugh out loud. I was actually smiling through the cute scenes. which is actually a plus point meaning I did't completely dislike it.
The story isn't something unique at all but it's from a manhua. Hope I can find it somewhere. It might give me more insight to the story. For some reason the story was all over the place for me at certain times.
Anyways if you are into romantic stories to just pass time I would suggest this one.

I really don't get why people are complaining this sequel saying it didn't live up to its name. Yes the prequel was hell of a ride but this was too. The only complaint I had was i wished they stuck to one story rather than many. Maybe connecting them in a bit better way would have helped. One thing that was similar in both the dramas was the amazing and strong cast. Both dramas had seasoned actors giving their best and doing hell of an awesome job at it. I honestly did not see where people were coming form saying this was bad. For me this was just as good as the previous.

Also another thing, do not go into this expecting a happy ending. My heart was racing the entire time scared as to who would die next. More than half the team died and I didn't even know what to feel at the end. You didn't know who the hell was the good guy and who was the bad guy till the end. Up till the ending sequence I was not sure who was good and who was bad which in my opinion was one of the best aspects of the drama. As per the last one and as per all of the writer's works this drama too heavily relied on comradeship which is what makes me totally addicted to this writer's work. If you go see his resume you can literally see how many awesome dramas the scriptwriter has done.

Well I wouldn't mind another season with the same cast, maybe make it a twist and add the old cast too yet still I'm kinda excited for the movie which would have taken place between these two seasons.

Another plus point, make sure you watch after the ending sequence in the last episode. You will be in for a treat ;)

This story is so beautiful yet so sad. I smiled and cried through out the movie. Many have compared it to Orange although this has many similar aspects to it, I can not say it is completely like it. There are many different things in this. I would say this is a movie that should not be missed. The ending made me cry so much. I am just so in love with the leads so much. Their acting was on point and sometimes although I was confused as to where the movie was heading (mainly due to the fact I fast-forwarded a bit but i re-watched again without fast-forwarding)the story still captivated us. The story is relate-able yet a fantasy. Everything in it was just done right. And can I say our ML is just so cute. Like I mentioned before they just make one of the cutest pair ever!!!!I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone I know. A simply beautiful movie.

Damn. Damn Damn Damn.

Excuse my language. Well for starters the story was amazing. Lot of people kinda guessed who Mr. Lee was half way through the story. It isn't one hell of an original plot. It was an ok plot but that's not what made me give this a 9.5 rating. It was the acting. Every. Single. One. were on point. Not a single actor did bad. Now let me get to the main point of this movie.

RYU JOON YEOL!!!

This is my first drama of his. I've heard raving critiques of his acting saying how good he is but for the first time I saw it. This boy can show so many emotions from his face without uttering a word. As the summary says he is quiet person but the amount affect he has on the story is amazing just by portraying his emotions. At first I wasn't that interested in him cuz he does not possess the typical K-drama boyfriend look but boy wasn't I wrong. I'm in love with him now. I wanted to watch Reply 1988 but after hearing who's the real husband I kinda didn't watch it. I love Park Bo Gum but after watching few FMVs I felt as if Hyeri had more chemistry with our sunny boy here XD But thank god they ended up together. Ok I'm going off topic but I hope we can see one of his dramas again. From here onward I will be watching all of his movies and drama. Mr. Ryu, you've found a fan here
The thing that got my attention the most.

HIS GODDAMN HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT LOOKS FREAKING GOOD> Am I the only one who noticed that?

This was surprisingly dark. Not that the trailer showed otherwise. But i's a bit dark. The whole concept of homosexuality in Asian countries aren't accepted yet and some of our parents don't want to even speak about it as a matter of fact. I know for a fact mine don't. So the whole concept of this where homosexuals are made fun of the society is not new to me.

I came here after watching Long Time No See so the whole concept of this pretty dark for me. All in all the actors did a pretty good job here. Especially Kwank shi Yong. He deserves his own drama by now.

Well this was kinda disappointing overall. First time I saw the trailer and funky poster I was honestly very happy and excited to watch this and basically counted down the days to this. SO finally it started getting officially subbed I was ecstatic. Alas it , short lived. The dubbing was horrible, the story line dragged waaaaay too long, the side characters were super annoying and mostly the main FL was just plain frustrating to watch. The last two episodes kinda stopped me from giving this a terrible rating. Other than that I was terribly disappointed in this drama. Too bad cuz Zhand Ruo Yon's acting here was awesome. He was one of the main reasons this drama was also saved.

Well that was a lil bit heartbreaking but realistic. I wished it could be longer. It just came into your heart and while you were getting used to it the whole thing finishes way too quickly. As I said before the whole thing is very realistic but for some reason I feel like her marriage would be just like her mother's. Hope she finds true happiness with him. It was sweet that in their hearts that both of them are honestly nicely remembered with all the good things between them.

Definitely my favorite out of all three seasons. I felt as if each season got better as it went, not that I disliked the first season. It was very cute too. But loved the realistic aspect of it. The first couple showed us a real relationship. Obviously completely fell in love with Woo PD. He showed how a mature relationship is. I liked how he was calm and more stable than WooJung. Even in the first season we could sense that Woo jung and Sa Rang had a more innocent, sweet love that college kids or high school kids could dream of but Woo PD made it seem more adult like (if that makes any sense)

Hope we can get another season with these couples staying the same without changing.

Despite few of the negative comments I would clearly state otherwise. This story is the official sequel for the ever popular Boys Over Flowers/Hana Yori Dongo. BOF/HYD is a timeless classic, getting immense remakes over the years. This and Mischievous Kiss are two Jap manga that have taken over the drama-land by a storm creating countless remakes in many countries. So to see an official remake for the second season was a pleasant surprise for me.
At first I wasn't so sure of how the remake will actually be like given the fact I only knew (and loved) Nakagawa Taishi from the cast. So I did a further study and found out that Nakagawa and the leading lady here Sugisaka Hana had actually acted previously together in an incredible crime mystery drama. So I kinda left this off till they fully subbed it and started watching that. After finishing that I honestly was a bit downcast for the fact that the two of them aren't the leading couple in this drama.

That was until I watched the first episode of this and ultimately fell in love with the amazingly flawed character of Haruto. As the story and as Haruto's fatehr always reminds him, Haruto is extremely flawed. I am not saying this in any way to bring Haruto down. The fact that he is flawed is the perfect reason that he's so amazing. Compared to Tenma, Haruto is extremely lacking in talent but he makes up for it with the sheer genuineness and pureness he has in his heart. Please do not hate me for this but honestly liked Haruto's character a teensy bit more that Domyouji (yes I know I should be hung. If someone told this to me before I watched Hana Nochi Hare I would think that person is mad too). Unlike Domyouji I felt that Haruto had more compassion in his heart. As I mentioned before I was always conflicted on whom to like. Obviously I had the second lead syndrome. i started watching the drama with the second lead syndrome anyway but it took only few min for me to completely start rooting for Haruto. I love Tenma but Edogawa should simply be with Haruto. That's final.

I don't actually mind the side characters. They don't stand out that much as the side characters on HYD but nonetheless they make good support for our three. Only Airi and Megumi stands out a bit but other than that I can't even remember the names even properly.

One of the BEST parts of this story? The constant references to the parent story. it was nice surprise to hear about the characters all the time with occasional cameos. YES THERE ARE CAMEOS SO WATCH THIS!!!! With that I've got to finish my review cuz I am scared that I might actually spoil the story and one annoying person has been badgering me with one review where I had put a tiny spoiler (but in my defense I did mention before hand that there is a spoiler and not to read if they do not want it). Anyway that's for later.
I really hope they do a second season for this cuz honestly I'm dying for a second season so they can wrap up Haruto's and Edogawa's story nicely :)

PS- The songs are BEAUTIFUL. Utada Hikaru killed me with her track. Every time I hear it I imagine Haruto's heartbreaking face. The lyrics perfectly shows Haruto's feelings for Edogawa.

I really don't know why this drama doesn't have amazing ratings in China. For me this was just as a gem as the previous season and the acting was on par with the previous season. Yes the plotting and revenge was mellow in this one but that didn't make it any less perfect.
Liu Hao Ran did an amazing job and his chemistry with Zhang Hui Wen was really cute. It was so nice to watch them fall in love slowly. This is what you call a predestined love. The bromance in this is out of the world. It is one that can rival the bromance of the previous season although when it comes to the romance side this one takes a higher place, at least in my personal books.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loved the first season and I kinda hope they have some other continuation for the story so we can see what happens to the Chnaglins in the future.

Tiramisu Cake!! Tiramisu Cake!!

God that song is stuck in my head so much! This is such a beautiful drama. One of those cute dramas that really stick with you. When I first heard that this is going to be a musical drama I was kinda skeptical but after watching it I finally saw the beauty of it. It was amazing!!! The songs are so cute. Like realistic giving an indie feeling to it.

I am so happy they casted the male lead instead of casting an idol. He did an amazing job of portraying the awkward not the best singer but a good singer nonetheless. His acting was on point. I watched him Prison Playbook and loved him there (tbh I loved all the characters in that drama. THE BEST)

Honestly there's nothing so special about the story but if you want a super cute story yes this is the one.

Just watch it for Tiramisu Cake!!

AMAZING!!

This is one of those slow but meaningful story. Unfortunately it got caught to the FIFA period and was cancelled many time which ultimately made a small setback in the ratings. Although the ratings were on a less side, it still emerged top of its slots. I managed to watch each week which actually made it even more suspenseful for me.

This is the first time lead roles of both Jang Ki Young and Jin Ki Joo (If you don't count JKY's Boy Next Door. Guys check it out. It's a total 180 of this) and for me they did an amazing job. They managed to portray their characters well and honestly JKY was simply amazing. This boy needs alot more lead roles. Despite the grim nature of the story if you check the BTS you can see them having fun.

One of the biggest positive factor of this were the child actors. Especially Nam Da Reum. Damn this boy has grown up well. Hope when they grow up, both of them get another drama as a couple <3

Actually I waited till the end of the drama to watch it and I'm glad I did. From my experience of watching dramas I've got to say the past few years the cable networks of Korea are doing a better job at producing high quality stories that actually make sense rather than nonsensical romance stories only. From this sentence itself you can figure out that there's very little romance in this story.

First of all I shall tell my biggest complaint for this drama. That is that Sung Dong Il didn't get more screen time. His character was the most entertaining and obviously he's under the section main cast but compared to the other two he has little screentime.
Also another thing I don't understand how people say L's acting isn't memorable. After watching many, many, MANY dramas of his I've got to say his acting skills have improved 500X times. His character made more sense to me. The story is set in such a way that we don't completely fall for him cuz he sometimes is more tight assed. For me his character was refreshing. Another thins is I swear the female lead sometimes got on my nerves so much. Why can't she think before acting and after doing that and gets all sad.
Another fact was that I knew I saw him in some drama but wan't sure. Who am I talking about? L's best friend at work I mean. later I figured he was the king in the drama Faith with Lee Min Ho

Would I give this another rewatch value? Definitely yes
