Honestly, I understand her paranoia. It stems from insecurity. But I also agree with you that if this is all I had to worry about from my significant other, we would be married. Dating someone with such a history does mean you shoulder their past as well, but it's something you work through with constant communication. In short, it's a her problem, and she should have worked through it without making the person she loves feel guilty for having been married before. Because when you think about it, his ex's husband also has to deal with the same. So, yes, I understand the existence of the insecurity and paranoia, but she's handling it like she's 21, not 30. I also think for her it's more of an insurance to make sure the CP never misunderstands her position. Let's not forget she (Gu Qinzhi) was in a marriage where she did not love her husband and was constantly "love-bombed." She's just trying to ensure he doesn't end up like the fifth prince.

I think it's become pretty obvious, based on ep 10 ending and the story Jiayu told Wu Yi about A'Mao that A'Mao tailors himself into what he thinks Jiayu finds attractive. "God" did not specifically make A'Mao to Jiayu's liking, A'Mao is tailoring himself to fit Jiayu's preferences!

Now he wants to fight because Jiayu finds Wu Yi's fighting spirit admirable
