Just curious if A Journey To You did better in China than this drama as it won a Weibo award? I was expecting this to win something too....

I'm in your camp - I didn't watch it because of this. Just visually as a viewer I wanted them together...but have a strong Tan Jian Ci bias lol.

There's something in your last sentence. Some of her co-stars do other dramas and somehow the acting or emotion or something isn't quite there, unlike in the dramas with her. Of course not everyone will agree with my perception but happy to disagree.

Also we were complaining how every character had similar names/letters - I love that translated to ZSY having a date with the real niece instead of SY. And of course her getting the niece's name totally wrong!

Yay I am with you - I had just a blast watching this as it was so light and funny. I've read the novel a long time ago so I cannot remember if the misunderstandings were as multi-layered as this e.g. people thinking she was with a married man etc. But kudos to the novel writer or screenwriter because I just had to laugh at how stitched up the situation getting and the other characters added fuel to fire.

Cool! It looked liked part of the OFL family - everyone was holding it at one point or another!

Haha same here, don't want to watch either especially as ALP is sooo long....so many seem to love ALP though, there's bound to be comparisons.

I counted about 13 different male leads so far? Not counted the dramas that are not aired yet. Not all them are well known though. And she only really re-worked with the 3 male leads you mentioned, who are very well known that's all. At least a couple of leads we won't see her with like Neo Hou (wasted opportunity!) as their project didn't pass review and got shelved.

Poor WXY if that's the case then 🤣 I always think he was too good (an actor) in OnO and BL was traumatised by him - she wanted him to hang up the call on her birthday that year 🫢
