Mr. Virgin is a very strange romantic comedy from Hong Kong. A 30-year-old man has been told his entire life that he will die if he is intimate before he turns 30. Just after celebrating this milestone and getting married, he finds out he is a year younger than he thought and therefore can't consummate his marriage. The side story is that his wife does make-up for dead people and she doesn't want him or anyone else to know about it. The story and acting are okay, I did laugh out loud a couple of times and it is very 80's but the thing that put me off this film is the rape storyline. The main protagonist is at a club, meets three women and proceeds to be raped by them in an alley, this is done in a lighthearted way (you do not see anything sexual or violent) and provides comedic moments after the event but I just found it distasteful, I realise that it is from a different time but it ruined an otherwise okay movie for me.

A girl running away from an exam jumps into a puddle, goes back in time to the Joseon dynasty (stay with me) & falls for the King. A time-travelling, historical, romantic, comedy, drama, what more could you want?! Short, sweet & powerful. It's only 2 episodes & definitely leaves you wanting more but think of it as a movie. The only thing wrong with it, is that it's so short lol. WARNING: Doo Joon will make you swoon <3 <3 <3 It is very rare that any film or series will end perfectly but this is one of the few. The ending is absolutely perfect in my opinion. PERFECT!

Guy's fiance dies, he sees a Chinese girl online that is her doppelganger and invites her to visit him in Japan. This is a TV movie, that's all I think I need to say really. It is an okay film but I wouldn't choose to watch it again. The plot is thin & predictable and the backstory & characters are underdeveloped.

A very short film (13 minutes) about a young woman that travels to the Chinese countryside. A very short film (13 minutes) about a young woman that travels to the Chinese countryside. It's kind of a long meet-cute. It is a sweet little film but I feel like it's part of a tourism campaign that doesn't quite work as a film. At the end, it says it is based on a true story which is great but I feel that this story could definitely have been made into a full-length feature & it would have had much more of an impact on me.

Quite a strange drama/film. A man has some bad luck and ends up working for a loan shark then to get some money back for the shark he ends up playing for an ice hockey team. I don't think the story was very strong which is a shame because the acting was good. Kwak Dong Yeon was part of the supporting cast, which is also a shame because one of the best parts of this, was him and Lee Kwang Soo on the railway - it was definitely my favourite part of this drama. I think this probably could have been better as a full-length series, with more time to develop the plot.

Athletic K-Pop Stars

This was the first time I watched Idol Star Athletics & I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this show but it is so much fun! I recommend watching this even if you don't like sports or you don't know all of the acts. It is really exciting & gives you a good feeling. Some of the idols are pretty amazing at their chosen sports & there are some really close contests & even though I didn't know certain people I was cheering for them... Fighting! My personal highlights are the Futsal, Archery, High Jump & Relay!

Although not as good as the previous seasons, it was good to see food I recognised (pizza haha) but of course, seeing beautiful people eating beautiful food is a major part of the charm of this show. Compared to previous seasons there weren't enough Mr Foodie monologues for my liking though! I enjoyed the flashbacks the most, finding out about how Dae Young became a foodie was very interesting to me but I must say I was more involved in the main characters relationship in the past than the present. And in the present, I would have liked to have seen more of Seo-Yeon & Sun-Woo. I think the way this season went was so realistic, which for any kind of drama (never mind K-Drama) is refreshing! Even though I enjoyed this season the least (the previous 2 were much funnier and happier), I would love for there to be another season of Let's Eat where Dae Young (and the viewers) finally gets a happy ending *fingers crossed*

Cuteness Alert

This is such a sweet comedy drama with a stunning lead couple & the rest of the cast were great too. The first few episodes are a bit wacky with some OTT fight scenes but once you get used to that you get totally involved in these characters stories. This is an extreme slow burn (with no actual kiss scene) but the cuteness of the male lead & interest in the sub-plots kept me watching & I would happily rewatch when looking for something light, romantic & fun. I also think it has a positive, inspiring message ??
One star purely for Ji Chang-wook ?
