YES THIS DRAMA IS GOODit's good to see these young people reach their destiny and fight for their future.Heizi…
I feel like the beginning part introduces the friends circle dynamics and shows ML’s story first which would be why even though TXM is the FL, she’s not shown as much. HH is a large part of ML’s beginning so would explain why she’s shown more for now. We’ll probably get FL’s story soon when the remaining 4 moves towards their dreams with school, medical training, military.
They are really well written characters.PS.. If this was real life, I won't think bad of HH for thinking of herself…
Agree about the script so far. All the characters are well written. The female characters remind me of the mothers from The Joy Luck Club who all lived through those tumultuous times and made difficult choices. The female characters are fleshed out well in this drama.

I think so too and YG is always going to second guess her feelings for him as well as be paranoid towards XCS, especially when CCS prospers later. HH will initially have a better life with YG but as you said, there’s a price.
I can’t wait to see the part where XCS realizes that it was TXM in the library. Want to see at what point he makes the realization, before or after they get together. From the credits I feel like it’s after he starts having feelings for her.

That’s especially true when he gets injured. Without the military, they didn’t think they could elevate themselves, and so her dreams would not be realized if she stayed with him, bringing back her mother’s words about choosing a partner. Those were harsh times and adding the care for a potentially permanently injured partner that would dependent on you makes things even more scary to face. Even in modern times, some people would have a hard time with it. I don’t blame her for her choices but it does show how they just weren’t meant for each other. Sad for XCS but will be glad to see him bounce back later.
I was trying to figure the OP/ED credits but it looks like she gets with YG in the future?
Is it like Ex-Boyfriend comes back? Most of the dramas I watched were shown that Ex-bf comes back to create disturbances…
As long as hey don’t change it from he novel, the ex-bf doesn’t affect their relationship. The character that actually attempts to cause problems between the leads isn’t listed on the page so don’t know how that part is going to play out. Someone said earlier that she’s not listed because they’re trying to surprise audience with the actress’ identity.
If looks could kill, CS would have annihilated YF and I don’t blame him. The girl could have talked to her parents,…
Yeah…I was like, did she really go that far to get out of an engagement 😖 She was still so stoic about it after her family and instructor found out everything.
CHJ is going to turn bad apparently. I did not expect that!
It’s in either the op or ed credits but it looked like he became a big shot who is cruel or something. Since hey all start looking better because things in the country are starting to take a turn, i took me a minute to realize that it was CHJ.
I am just slightly worried that while ML2 and FL 2 are off to the army, XCS is still not there even in episode…
Yeah. I think he gets discharged due to his injury and then goes into business. The teaser made me wonder if he goes into some kind of medical related business that will help further FL’s medical career.
I was replying in reference to the scene in the OST described in her comment. That scene was when he saw FL get into Lu Dong’s car during ML’s investigation in ep19. Yeah, she did want to give him up later when he was going to give up his opportunity to fulfill his dreams to help her save the company but that part isn’t in the OST’s hat I’ve seen so far.
FL inherit her grandfather's business and company. They will soon breakup bcoz of rumours which will send impact…
Yes, a young boy needs his parents but they don’t need to separate themselves from the older son. ML should still be able to be a part of the family as he’s a brother and son. ML wouldn’t have been as hurt if that was the case. But the premise was that ML would no longer be a part of their family. Imagine being cut out of the life of someone you basically raised.
It’s drastic but I’ve heard of step parents making ultimatums that they would only be a family if children from first spouse are no longer part of the family life. There’s dramas where the father or mother leaves their previous children with a relative or at an orphanage to marry and start over. Essentially that’s what the father did. At least ML is an adult.

They pieced together different parts of the MV and previews for that video. That scene in the beginning where he was red eyed/teary before the scene in the car with the grandpa is when his father returns and takes his little brother because his brother’s mom returns and decides she wants them to be a family of three…essentially cut ML out of the family. In the novel his dad took the brother and left ML $500K as compensation for taking care of the brother and for cutting ML out of the family. Yes…his dad gets even worse.🤦🏻♀️
No love triangle. When Ji Xing was with Shao Yichen, Han Ting had no feelings for her. He himself was in a friends-with-benefits…
The story focuses on the main leads and how they are in business with ML as the FL’s mentor. Kind of like in Be Together except that the boyfriend/ex isn’t a jerk.
