I love reading stuff like this about the dramas I’m watching because it gives perspective and makes the characters even more relatable.

He knew that LX was onto them about XLN since it was the only way to get the source code. He didn’t care about fully copying because he thought he had the upper hand with the video and knew that the only person LX would sacrifice everything for, time and again, was ZY. Gao had planned the video before having ZLN get the source code. Both times he used ZLN. LX initially dropped the lawsuit for ZY’s sake because of Gao threat with the video. But Gao wasn’t counting on ZY say FxxxYxx and posting the video herself to take away his leverage.

She was such a boss when she did that. The straight look she gave Gao was awesome.

This is an awesome reflection piece written on L&P. Great take on all the characters and their actions/story.

Lol…yeap…when ZY said ”if LX doesn’t make this company successful within 2 years, I’ll gouge my eyes out.” She was like, he went from jealous of painter guy to using him for the project, He’s too good. 🤣

No…both fathers were really nice in Go Ahead. They acted more like a couple with ZY’s dad’s character was more like the cooking mom while Boss Dong’s character was the working dad. The 3rd father that was problematic didn’t really have a prominent role which speaks to his character as an absentee father. Lol…I almost forgot the 3rd father even existed. He’s not in L&P.

Lol…I get what you mean about CP. My take on the whole thing, I like when actors/actresses can be paired with anyone and make the pairing shine no matter what. I like my faves to be paired with different people because that means they can learn from different people. I also like it when they aren’t scared to work with someone they’ve already worked with no matter what their fan groups say…not in back to back projects but after a few years.
S+ work would mean working with more high traffic actresses which I don’t think people would have an issue with. I’m still trying to figure out which ones were S+ because some of these high traffic artists have some really bad scripts or the production butchered the execution. I think those that only want the same actor/actress pairing all the time are more shippers.

Lol…that’s because they’ve already completed other projects since L&P finished filming in Jan while L&P is still fresh for us. CFY’s movie is getting ready to come out and ZJY is finishing up her drama with Johnny Huang. That’s why they can’t always be there for promotions when the drama finally airs, especially with a covid environment. I always find it interesting to compare how the industry works in each country. In Thailand and China, everything is completed before airing while in Korea, most of the times they’re still filming while the drama is already airing, especially the daily k-dramas.

Practical experience…He’s been there and brought it to the university. That’s why his base was more popular than the interest group. It’s also why Gao could never surpass him because Gao never really took the time to understand what’s behind his success. When Gao said he’d have a hard time because of his attitude, I was like umm did you not remember when you were registering for the forum, LX was having a business meeting as a freshman with an interested investor. Of course, he too ZY with him so she knows his capabilities. Also, of all the members that were in the base, he may be slightly rude, but business got done and the only outbursts were with 2 girls who were only at the base for his attention (yes…FSM included) and Gao.

I just scroll through those. Sometimes people write things on here just to get a reaction and it’s not worth it. If everyone treats people by labeling them just like they label these characters as if they’re 1-dimensional beings without complex layers, no one would be in relationships and everyone would be misunderstood and cancelled at the slightest wrong look or word/offense. The difference between drama and real life is that we get to see the different layers of these characters in a controlled environment as a drama audience. We get to see these characters grow throughout the story as well.

Same…I love her acting and I hope her agency doesn’t keep her in the same types of roles after Walking Through Fire so that she can experience other genres. Although most do that for the exposure. She’s signed with Chen Kun’s company. I don’t know much about how they take care of or promote their artists but she’s also gotten a lot of praise for her movie too. I read an article talking about how Chen Kun’s company and Li BingBing’s company each signed a girl that looks like each other which was Zhang JingYi and Zhou Ye and now ironically CFY has starred with both, one in a drama and one in a movie. 😆 They all went to Beijing Film Academy but started at different years.

I think it depends on what type of modern dramas you like. The only other modern c-drama that comes close to this one for me was You Are My Glory. Go Ahead is another good one that I love but I know some people had issues with the leads getting together because they grew up together sibling-like.

Crossing my fingers for some of the original cast. Apparently that what the netizens are asking for too. CFY/ZJY are basically LX/ZY to them…lol. I’d definitely take more of them onscreen together but I know they have other projects lined up.

I think it’s hard to put everything that needs to be shown in a storyline like L&P into a 2-hour movie. I think I love watching Asian dramas over most Asian movies these days because there’s more time to show all the little nuances behind everything. The only movies I can watch are action.

I think I attempted to watch the movie version of TMOPB and FFWD through the whole thing. Same with Love 020

I think it just got officially posted. Someone tweeted the posting. They haven’t released anything about the potential cast.

Definitely…lol…listening to her parents doesn’t necessarily mean comply. Everyone has something rebellious they’ve done. I think ZY is very typical of most “good girls” actually. Her relationship with her parents are pretty similar to my sister and myself with our mom…lol…except our mom came around to accepting things she couldn’t control a little easier but accepting doesn’t mean the talks stop 😆. Like, ZY, we just let her talk and listen but don’t always comply. I was not annoyed with ZY either.

I just had to start ignoring the negative rather than give a reaction. It’s nice when there’s respectful discussions and debates. I was going to start Wild Bloom today but can’t move on from L&P yet…may have to distract myself with Holiday preparations.

That’s ZY’s line and she only does that for LX…but yes LX is willing to for ZY as well.
