In the novel, she never fully did but LX was finally got to at least go into her parent’s house when their oldest son was in middle school. Before that, LX would drop them off at the house for New Years while he waited in the car. At least in the drama her dad said he’d work on talking to her mom.

It was a good way to use her character with the source code thing though. I think in the novel, LX used XLN to get the source code from FZJ which was how he broke his program in the contest.

He did the same with the app in part 1.

Lol…you know it. We need LX/ZY courting time. I am so glad it’s not one of those 100 episode daily kdramas where they have one of the leads go into a coma for like 5 episodes and have amnesia a couple of times when they wake up.

Yeah…loved watching their interactions especially Jackson and CFY. Then you have calm RenJialun and funny Wei Daxu. CFY is the tallest out of them. They’re all scaredy cats when it comes to bugs or animals.

Because he got that back injury and put off a much needed surgery so with the unhealthy work habits and guilt (over mom, sister, ZY), I wouldn’t be surprised if they made him go into a short coma post-surgery. I think him passing out will be a combo of not resting or eating properly and the spinal injury (think they said herniated disc). Surgery is the only way to permanently fix a herniated disc and sneeze the wrong way and you can pass out from the pain when it flares up (I know from experience). But it better be a short half episode coma because we only have 5 episodes left so no time to waste.

He’s slightly over 6 ft tall at 188cm and pretty broad shouldered. They styled him in a way that made him appear smaller to match the college computer genius who does do sports. Longer loose clothing sometimes make people appear shorter too I think. Also the hair made a more younger innocent appearance. In part 2 post prison, there’s more fitted clothing and the hair which brings out his broad shoulders and with the buzz cut, a more mature feel with a heightened stature. They did a great job with styling ZY and LX to fit the time periods. Their character facial expressions also show a weariness of experience or obstacles in part 2 compared to part 1 the college days. Can’t say enough how great these two are a portraying LX and ZY.

He joins Feiyang and works with them.

He was the one that put the thought in FZJ’s head about messing with LX’s sister which led to her death. He did it on purpose.

I think he himself said something like that in part one, that he’s in trouble because he knew he was already gone for her.

That’s why it’s so natural because some of the scenes were actually them messing around or messing up or improvising. They’re really in sync with each other when improvising too.
