Even with 20 years of darkness, there can still be light in the end
Crime/mystery/thriller. Complex story rich in suspense, not much fight scenes though. The backstory for each characters were also beautifully written. That's why the show demands a lot of attention. If not, you'll get lost easily.Actors did good with theirs characters too.. I often wonder who's the villain or who's the victim. The overall tone of a small community was also done realistically. How small town gossip works and even how they've got each other's back when needed..
I may not watch this again but I don't regret watching it either. It's entertaining. And even with its darkness, there's still light at the end.

If you're looking for profound/life-changing story then this ain't for you.
Typical urban romance.A straight no none-sense ML and a girl next door FL met one drunken night on bar. A sure way to lead to misunderstanding between them.
Next thing they know, they're working together so they need to set aside their differences. From adversary's, to colleague, to friends, to lovers.
The story itself is a bit draggy, skipped some here and there. Some issues were so mundane and can be easily avoided with a bit of honesty.
FL is the source of most of the issues if not all. At first she was supposedly a woman of power but for the first part of the story, she was indecisive. Almost dropped the show because of this.

The beginning of the epic Moonstone Trilogy..
The beginning of the epic Moonstone Trilogy. Cast, superb. Story was complex as it's characters. Backstory for each key role was also beautifully written. Some scenes could've been cut shorter so that it didn't feel like a filler episode. But it's ok, still needed a lot of free time to watch this one.ML and FL was fated since they were kids. Best friends that were also separated by circumstances that involved their parents. Both didn't have ideal childhood but still managed to have a good life even when they were apart.
They met again as adults with their push and pull relationship as they didn't have any idea of their childhood friendship. After a while, they still managed to fall in love even through the challenges brought by his profession and her destiny.
This story can make you smile or make your heart sigh, can make you laugh or cry at times. Plus the fight scenes which added a little spice to the story. Words like family, friendship, love, responsibility, destiny came to mind after watching this.

Interesting concept but...
At first it was an interesting concept, marrying eastern and western medicine. But after watching the first ten episodes, I was so annoyed with the FL.. The character not the actress. Then story got so draggy, I needed to force myself awake and tell myself over and over again that I wanted to know what happened next.
After a while, I've decided to drop the show. So I checked the last episode just for closure. Glad I decided to drop it, the ending was not what I call a happy one..
Interesting concept, good actors, not so good writing, visuals are just so so, OST too. Over all, I think its just not for me.

Typical CDrama with a happy ending but didn't managed to touch my heart
Men oh men... I was so bored, started thinking of dropping the show as early as the first three episodes.Lasted around the tenth episode, then decided to skip to episode 15, then watched from episode 20 til the end. My plan was if there's something I missed or don't understand then I will go back and watched previous episodes.
To my surprise, even with the the episodes that I skipped, I can still understand the plot of the story. The plot ain't something new. FL sets off to find justice for her family, pretending to be male to investigate more freely. Got close to ML, fell in love, broke their hearts. Then like magic, still managed to be together.
The ending was a happy ending that didn't make me happy. It doesn't make much sense or I should say that the ending almost made the whole story pointless.

Time Traveling RomCom Drama
Watched until episode 5. At first, I was very curious on clash between western/modern medicine and the more traditional way of healing which is acupuncture. Then it became a bit repetitive; the bickering, the travelling back and forth through time. I guess it's just not for me. So, I skipped and skipped a lot until I've decided to just dropped the show.
The actors were ok. The OST was ok too, nothing remarkable but ok I guess. Rewatch value not that high too. I guess this ain't just for me. But if you want a RomCom Time Travelling Drama, give it a chance maybe you'll like it.

Male and Female lead roles on reverse.
To be honest, watched the show because of the actors. From the Male/Female lead to supporting roles, they're all great. The first few episodes seems a bit aimless and typical for this kind of genre. Only, the ML and FL roles were on reverse. FL was the hunter with a willful/playful personality. While ML was the reserved one, fiercely protective and loyal to a fault.
The redundancy here was a bit tiresome. Like how the FL lied to ML over and over and over again. Or how they commit the same mistakes again and again. These goes for everyone, even the supporting roles. Or how every problem can be solved only through life sacrifices.
Then there's the second half of the show, heavy on the heart tugging moments. Luckily, the writers were humane enough to give us a happy ending.

Their first meeting was a disaster but their love is sweet. This line almost sold it for me.
It was in the description that their first meeting was a disaster but their love is sweet. This line almost sold it for me.But I decided to drop the show by around episode 7 or 8. Nothing happened still, nothing but their disastrous meeting. I don't like ML who's almost cruel to FL no matter the instances.
I have nothing to say regarding the FL, there's not much of her story yet. Slow phased almost to the point of laziness. Actors were new faces to me, but it was OK. OST is also good. Maybe its just not for me. Re watch opportunity is not possible seeing that I dropped the show.

Dropped the show by episode 16
I guess this wasn't just for me. Dropped the show by episode 16.Watched the show because some of the actors of the show are already familiar to me. Curious, I guess. I wanted to know who's who. Who's considered the main lead? Who's gonna have a happy ending? My curiosity brought me up until episode 16.
But by episode 16, I was so bored and decided to just skipped to the last episode. If in any case, watching the last episode would ignite my interest, then I would continue on. Sadly, it did nothing for me. So I've decided to dropped it.

Really really good episode 1.
Dropped the show as early as episode 6. I wanted a little bit of romance with a bit of suspense to spice it a bit.At first, the show had a really interesting plot with good looking actors. The show did good in introducing the players of the show.
By episode 2, I started skipping from time to time. The show was tagged as Romance/Thriller/Suspense, but I don't feel the romance. What there is, is just barely an unrequited love. I was also not thrilled in any way, I was bored. Bored to the point of dropping the show. Not for me I guess.

Got lost early on..
Plot were pretty interesting at first, fight scenes / cgi was ok too. Tried hard to watch this one because theres good reviews online, but failed at around episode 8 or 9. Lost interest and decided to just dropped out.Main characters were also good looking, but got nearly zero chemistry. Acting was ok, but not much emotion was shown. Didnt feel thrilled or scared, didnt made me cry or my heart sigh, just pure curiosity that didnt last long..
Music was ok too. I may not rewatch this again and may forget it easily. If anyone reading this comment is still interested, go and give it a try. See for yourself, maybe you'll like it. Maybe its just not for me..

A traditional drama with medical and political aspects
A strong strategist FL for a change is quite a welcome change. The plot was intriguing at first then it turned unrealistic really fast.FL was supposedly wise, then why did she impulsively attacked the emperor just like than? Of course, she'll be caught and taken to prison. She was suddenly successfully rescued with a new face and a new identity. Then her journey of finding justice begun.
A wise, patient, kind, selfless and pretty FL plus a legal husband, a childhood sweetheart, a sickly cousin and a fiancee from her dead bestfriend is now my new definition of "it's complicated".
Too slow phased for me plus really unrealistic scenes were too much.

I don't have the right to a review because I dropped the show early on.
I don't think I have the rights to write a review on this one because I decided to drop the show early on, maybe around episode 4. But I'm gonna write one anyway. Not for me. Watching a ML who values money more than anything is not how I wanted spend my time. Honestly, I didn't find anything interesting with the first few episodes that I've watched. FL being blind and her being on an arranged marriage with the ML while still looking for justice is their selling point that fell short.
I don't have the patience to wait for his character to develop into someone admirable. I don't have the patience to wait for ML and the FL to fall in love.
My observation may be off because I've watched too little but this is how I feel about the show.

Dropped the show as early as episode 4.
I thought this show would be interesting based on what was written on the description. An ordinary guy possessed an extraordinary power due to an accident, the Golden Eye. I'm in, I'm interested. Plus the actors looked really good. That's all I liked with the show, nothing more.Sadly, I was so bored I've decided to dropped the show early, even before I've learned the use of this power. So I don't have much to say with this review. Having 50+ episodes and being bored even early on is enough reason to the dropped this one.
Or maybe, this show ain't just for me.

Not for me
Not for me. I was looking for something to watch to pass time, to relax and enjoy. Not for something to annoy me.First episode was not at all interesting. The emperor help saved the princess. She was accidentally hurt and intentionally left behind by her warlock friend.
At the third episode, the ML, FL and her sisters had a shouting match. Which was really annoying. The episode ended with the FL being accidentally shot with an arrow, courtesy of her warlock friend. Maybe he's not a warlock but a bad luck for the FL.
