He played the good guy in 24’s Married with Elvira Cai, where I first watched him, and I enjoyed both as well as older actor portraying her husband (primary male lead). No romance between XZL and FL.

Understand censorship probably was catalyst for only 32 episodes, given size of “book,” removing content nuance… but to further reduce 25% probably not YOUKU given they already paid for production. Unless they also have to pay on top per episode. I bought 1 year sub during last April new viewer sale, as interested in several of their pending dramas but it’s like waiting for paint to dry between releases.

Hope The Untold Story filmed prior with Gina Jin drops first/soon. Can’t think of two more opposite FL’s when it comes to romantic filming philosophy (without realistic kiss…). GJ is seven years older but had the same mature perspective regarding intimacy in twenties.

Trivia thought of day after reading many comments and reviews past week (not watched): ironic this "repetitive" story permitted 33 episodes but censors reduced soon to be released The Early Spring from 32 to 24 (long read). Watch Cdramas to Kdramas 3-1 but appreciate K's much broader creative license and shorter release process.

It’s her grandparents 30+ house she visited growing up. It’ fairly run down but clean and comfortable with three floors. His “apartment” only area bit updated. One other family shown once moving in EP1. She lives on other floor and is not rich but with no rent and tenant allows her flexibility…

Hope it’s not huge disappointment like Love For You; choosing to blame censors primarily given number of episodes cut from a drama already romance sanitized from book. So hope censors did less of a “cleanse” here. I prefer Cdramas except for this aspect vs Kdramas (more artistic license and shorter lag to airing).

In my view the romance was much better than Love For You; much more warm and real between too mature adults over about 2 year growth progression. Vs LFY minimal emotional growth beyond admitting… over 7+ was like watching paint dry. I’m Esther neutral but enjoyed her character and portrayal SO much more than ZJ in LFY.

Filmed late 23 whereas TRTS filmed last summer.

Only disappointment for me was LFY which have contemplated dropping due to FL (way character written and actress). RTS best surprise since Love Between the Lines.

Perspective as BFF from middle school... FL had not seen her since/about 15 years.

Episode 25... enjoy the team story but middle stretch's been bit boring compared to initial episodes. FL fine but started this one for ML so let's go.

Find Yourself’s one of my top 5 and first SWL. Had 3 kiss scenes more sensual/intense than any other CD I’ve watched filmed 17 on (after early scene where the slept together ironically pg rated). Still wonder how FY passed censorship.

To be fair I'm constantly feeling disfunction :)

One of several disconnects; sloppy editing or intential writing; waiting to watch all episodes before review but not impressed so far. Watching this and The Road to Success at same time interesting parallel. Find FL character repuslive prob. comb. writing/actress (first time watchhing). Coversely Esther gets so much hate but Lin Wan Xing character smart and loveable).

Hope Youku releases Purple Dalia soon given his increased name rec (reviews mention first time watching). Waiting for its own new releases is like watching paint dry. Bought year pass to watch some older 4/26 half price - but probably won't renew given pipeline back up (The Story Untold etc.)

“They” probably would have but as always censors… the one area where K dramas excel (independence and faster release - won’t include no dubbing as understand reasons though greatly prefer most actors doing).

Respectfully disagree as first time watcher in Love for You: at least through episode 10 her portrayal vacillates between sullen, perplexed, and sad AND the dubbed voice so monotone would have dropped except for SWL. Much prefer FL here using own adult voice - she continues to grow including some micro expressions.

Agree but may skip that one as not impressed so far in Love For You. Waiting for TMLYL and PD (hoping both not censored beyond recognition from previews :)

"Only" paid $8,99 to watch this but for past two days locked out after 24 episodes unless I upgrade. This $ grab one reason why I subscribe to Viki more days of the year - other is more content of interest to me.

Find Yourself still his best by far - very likable, passionate and played older than self. One of the few C dramas I've rewatched. Conversely found him creepy in Go Ahead. Just my opinion :)
