If that date the hoping Youku (original) keeps promise to air Purple Dalia this year (filmed after IQIYIs TMLYL). Not interested Doll Game (Genre) or On My Way (FL).

Ideally international platforms,* not available inside C, would offer directors original intent. He didn’t have to deal with censorship for Had I Not Seen The Sun. * given exponential viewership grow (first pandemic then 47 escape here in US).

Speaking of Regeneration, happy to see Peng Yang as HR director, who shared the cat and mouse scene from museum to bedroom. I first watched her in 22 Dr. Tang as head nurse.

@Char and @mimi1122 thanks for judgemental mentai health analysis. As if I'm only viewer who looks up info online about actors that typically includes height and weight. The variance between many Asian countries and most others is not an unhead of topic on Reddit etc. If I was judgemental too I would speculate why triggered but not. Have a nice day.

Why because ML already told her to loose weight... while outside of Asia, thin and/or athletic women weigh 110-145 depending on height. I don't have to identify with FL in C/K dramas to enjoy but prefer Chen Jing Ke, Vin Zang etc. (up to 170 depending on role) to enjoy my viewer fantasy. Jing weighed 148 LB for this role obvsiously less than in Road Home.

Love for You has two versions (though barely a difference when compared one kiss scene both PG). It would be nice if dramas filmed to be R by director, remained in tact for international viewing and censored version used in China. Excluding WeTV productions where even drama with courtship, marriage and baby would be G rated - The Lead (US system ).

Absurd that censors approve so many toxic family and non-related abuse (P&E) situations, erase everything between fully clothed kisses and FC waking up, and past few now attempt to “PG” kiss scenes. Find Yourself has 3/4 kiss scenes that wouldn’t be allowed now (one in bed).

Thanks for correction (searched again and shows wrap 3/11/25). Still 17 months due to censors and dubbing whereas K’ s often air 6 months later (but much smaller volume of course so spend a lot of time waiting :)

He played the good guy in 24’s Married with Elvira Cai, where I first watched him, and I enjoyed both as well as older actor portraying her husband (primary male lead). No romance between XZL and FL.

Hope The Untold Story filmed prior with Gina Jin drops first/soon. Can’t think of two more opposite FL’s when it comes to romantic filming philosophy (without realistic kiss…). GJ is seven years older but had the same mature perspective regarding intimacy in twenties.

Trivia thought of day after reading many comments and reviews past week (not watched): ironic this "repetitive" story permitted 33 episodes but censors reduced soon to be released The Early Spring from 32 to 24 (long read). Watch Cdramas to Kdramas 3-1 but appreciate K's much broader creative license and shorter release process.

It’s her grandparents 30+ house she visited growing up. It’ fairly run down but clean and comfortable with three floors. His “apartment” only area bit updated. One other family shown once moving in EP1. She lives on other floor and is not rich but with no rent and tenant allows her flexibility…

Hope it’s not huge disappointment like Love For You; choosing to blame censors primarily given number of episodes cut from a drama already romance sanitized from book. So hope censors did less of a “cleanse” here. I prefer Cdramas except for this aspect vs Kdramas (more artistic license and shorter lag to airing).

In my view the romance was much better than Love For You; much more warm and real between too mature adults over about 2 year growth progression. Vs LFY minimal emotional growth beyond admitting… over 7+ was like watching paint dry. I’m Esther neutral but enjoyed her character and portrayal SO much more than ZJ in LFY.

Filmed late 23 whereas TRTS filmed last summer.

Only disappointment for me was LFY which have contemplated dropping due to FL (way character written and actress). RTS best surprise since Love Between the Lines.

Find Yourself’s one of my top 5 and first SWL. Had 3 kiss scenes more sensual/intense than any other CD I’ve watched filmed 17 on (after early scene where the slept together ironically pg rated). Still wonder how FY passed censorship.

One of several disconnects; sloppy editing or intential writing; waiting to watch all episodes before review but not impressed so far. Watching this and The Road to Success at same time interesting parallel. Find FL character repuslive prob. comb. writing/actress (first time watchhing). Coversely Esther gets so much hate but Lin Wan Xing character smart and loveable).
