i have rewatched it at least 3 times and been in tears but then suddenly i was knocked back into sense and i questioned…
It's. a good thing they reconciled VERY soon after that or it would have been unnecessary torture, I dislike when they drag stuff out too long. But TPTB made them meet quickly after that scene so it became a poetic and tender amuse boûche rather than some annoying KDrama trope (I used to watch mainly K). If the Chinese keep making such quality well-written dramas I will totes switch.
Nope that's wasn't the case. Both were drugged and forced to sleep together in their first meeting with each other,…
It's interesting bc at first I just saw him solely as a villain and the gray hair helped me when I was trying to sort out characters. By ep 19 or whatever we're on now, I look at ML bc he's hot and I love looking at his face and love his character & his acting skills are beyond.
But DK...I have a completely different feeling. On one hand I am incredibly drawn to his character and intensity and yes, looks, and on the other I'm appalled bc I'm drawn to such a sociopath. It's like I cannot look away.
Li huai an is a pretty decent guy but he looks like he admirs the fl. It would've been great if he had his own…
I mean it shows what a good actor he is bc he never says anything untoward. But his looks clearly give his thoughts away. They're ALL amazing actors of course.
I’m watching it for 2ML and the gym guy couple. FF scenes w FL. It’s a bit cringe to see leads in their thirties (forties?) acting all embarrassed or freaked out w someone touching their hand. Are these people all in their early thirties and never dated? The young ish gym couple are refreshing by comparison. And I’m not sure why the girl is so touchy around the lawyer. Maybe I forgot but I also don’t care enough to go back to an earlier episode.
I always said ZLH was one of those guys whose eyes alone could melt glaciers if he turned them on. But crying…
It's such a shame bc. ML should be so proud of these moments of drama release and the incredible job he did, and instead his team is probably in PR crisis mode.

Kdramas and Jdramas release one episode a WEEK and by then I've forgotten the plot and TBH I stop caring. I think 1 a day (by comparison) is great, especially w a complicated plot like this not to mention 40 episodes-- you couldn't keep up w all the machinations.

Someone commented before about this, but I didn't want to go back, and didn't really remember the scene later. Thanks for the link, wow this is genius. When a few of us saw it we were wondering what happened to the camera lol. Amazing.
I think I might start this drama tmrw... Is it still going strong at the halfway point?
Yes as two people have said so far gets better and better if that’s even possible. The sad scenes are so sensitively handled. And the FL hits all the right notes. Not too maudlin, just perfection.
You know what, this was directed and produced really well. The small details were handled beautifully too. They…
Whoever edited this is a genius. Camera angles, steady camera, sometimes a shaky camera, a scene that’s off kilter, different angles of same scene, different atmosphere (I don’t know all the terms)….all to match the mood of the story (music is also excellent where mood is concerned) you could watch POJ just for the camera work without dialogue. Every scene is a beautiful picture. It’s truly an amazing work of art. Sensitively done. I’ve said before, I’m in awe. I’m def going to watch it again. Whoever is behind this movie did everything right. Everyone must be so proud.

ML and FL are both beyond talented but you could also say that for the entire cast. Casting was perfect.
