One 31 always do well with their BL period pieces. I want more!
From "To Sir with Love", then "Love in the Moonlight", and the latest, "The Edge of Horizon", hope to see more and more pretty good period pieces coming out.

I don't know since the " Spare me your mercy " era I am damn obsessed with ONE31 BL dramas. Most of these…
Then I guess ONE31's lakhon/lakorn drama style is probably your cup of tea.

I've been waiting for this to finish to find out how it ends before I start watching. Can someone please let me…
Maybe get yourself prepared for twist and turn. Well, I'd say you probably don't need to worry too much and just go for it.

Ongsa deserves an award for what he did in ep7... This whole series with whole cast deserve an award. I think…
For Thai BL series I think "Duang with You", "Love You Teacher", "Payback", and "Ticket to Heaven" are pretty good this year.

I can't stop thinking about this drama ughh. About the sad or happy ending debate, my two cents. They never really…
Oh I can’t help hoping for a happy ending. Anyway the fun-fact thing about their names is that Thin's full given name, Thinnakon, means ‘the sun’ and the name Phob means ‘earth’, and the OST’s name is ‘First Light’ mentioning dawn as first light of a new day, so 'The Edge of Horizon' is where they meet.

But then this part of the lyrics like "as long as the sun can still meet the earth at daybreak… even if for a fleeting moment"..., makes me a bit nervous, would this mean that their time together will be little...? Just wish for a happy ending when they can finally end up together.

Title Love Destiny
And I was just thinking why are we having Falcon and Maria. Such a useless straight couple 🤭
This is a BL remake of ‘Love Destiny’ from 2018 which is not a BL show but a regular straight lakhon/lakorn drama and became very popular in Thailand at that time. Falcon and Maria did exist in the history and they were part of the story in the 2018 OG ‘Love Destiny’. As it’s a BL remake, it seems that they’ve made several changes from the 2018 OG, they still decided to keep Falcon and Maria like in the OG though.

One31 (sister production house of GMMTV, GMM25, and Change2561). Just click on the One 31 on this site and it…
"I Feel You Linger in the Air", really? I thought it was 'Dee Hub House's. I didn't know that ONE31 joined this production as well.

does anyone know who the king is? prolly some distant relative/uncle of vasin right
I guess so. This revolutionary military coup was staged in 1932 in the seventh reign since Bangkok became the capital city of the Kingdom. It was King Prachathipok aka King Rama VII’s reign at the time, and this military mission was executed while the King was away from Bangkok.

In the old days each king usually had many wives and therefore had a lot of children, and that made the royal family big with many princes and princesses. Even though King Rama VII had no children and his brother King Rama VI, the one before him, had only one daughter, the royal family was still big at that time with many princes from previous reign.

I guess Thin’s father, Prince Vasin, was supposedly a grandson of a previous king. At the time the King kind of put his people/relatives who were those princes in government positions across different ministries, and Prince Vasin was just pretty much one of those. You can think of Vasin’s or Thin’s family as just a branch of many royal branch families of the whole big royal family.

This 1932 Siamese revolutionary military coup did happen in the history. You can find some more details from some source like 'Wikipedia' as well.

Criticize me as well, but I saw the first episode and I turned off. I fell asleep. I had huge expectations, publicity,…
Why don't you give episode 2 a try. Then if you still don't like it, of course it's totally fine to drop it since it's not your cup of tea.

First time seeing people get into geopolitical discourses in a bl comment section
I think I first saw something similar to this in 'Shine' the series' comment section, another show with political texture from Thailand as well but with its story in different time, 60's-70's.

Oh wow, I really like 'Shine', another show with political texture. From the recent 'Thailand Y Content Award' event, the actor Son Yuke from 'Shine' won Best Supporting Actor award. 'Shine' won Best Directing and Best OST. awards as well. Hope you'll watch it and will like it too.

I have one question.Who is this family? Bcs their father keep calling them 'prince' so it means he must be the…
Thin’s father, Vasin, was definitely not the King. His family was just a branch of many families as parts of the whole royal family. Throughout ancient Siamese history each king in the old days usually had many wives and therefore had a lot of children as many princes and princesses.

This story started in the sixth reign since Bangkok became the capital city of the Kingdom, when the royal family was still big with many princes from previous reign, spanning into the seventh reign as the last of the absolute monarchy when this revolutionary military coup was executed in 1932 while King Rama VII was away from Bangkok.

King Rama VII had no children so he wasn’t Vasin’s father. Prince Vasin was supposedly a grandson of a previous king. You can think of Vasin’s or Thin’s family as just a branch of many royal branch families of the whole big royal family. The King kind of put his people/relatives who were those princes in government positions across different ministries, and Prince Vasin was just pretty much one of those.

Now I want Thai fans to explain me about the revolution. like I watched a video on yt and got to know the basic…
In general each Siamese King since ancient time usually had many wives and therefore had a lot of children as many princes and princesses. According to Thai monarchy, they have three princely ranks, with the highest one being the children of the King and Queen, and then the farther generations from a king, the lower the princely ranks. So the children, grandchildren, and probably great-grandchildren of a king remained princes, but their titles in Thai are different words according to their generations from the King, determining their different princely ranks but maybe got lost in translation as they’re all just basically called ‘prince’ in English. The children of the princes with lowest rank are no longer entitled to any princely rank and their descendants will finally become commoners, only with their royal last names to represent their royal lineage.

As mentioned in another comment above, the King kind of put his people/relatives who were those princes in government positions across different ministries, and Vasin, Thin’s father, was pretty much one of those. King Rama VII had no children so he wasn’t Vasin’s father. Prince Vasin was supposedly a grandson of a previous king. You can think of Vasin’s orThin’s family as just a branch of many royal branch families of the whole big royal family. Since they had so many princes, commoners in general wouldn’t know or recognize Thin as one of those princes when he was out roaming on the street.

It seems so in period Thai BL series, except that one, the her royal highness granny in 'Memoir of Rati' I guess...

Nooo, we need Peterpan on “Your Third!”😂 He’s the glue holding it together and my favorite character.…
Oh yeah let's work out in Peterpan's schedule for that cameo role you mentioned. I like your idea, let's just bring Pan in here.
