It’s so toxic and I’m glad she doesn’t let these things gets to her. I know a lot of actors and actresses can’t handle the stress and gets depressed.

I really like her because she seems like she loves doing what she does and is just glad to be there. Oh and she’s very cute and pretty too hehe. Can’t wait for more work from her!

I am also not a modern cdrama watcher. All the ones you listed, I watched and thought they were cringy as well. I would like to add to your list - Love is Sweet, Go Go Squid, Put your Head on my Shoulder and so many I don’t even remember the names.

This story’s been done a million times but there is something undoubtedly special about it. When I’m watching HL, It took me back to when I was once that young and I recall what it was like when I had my first crush. This is a healing drama - I don’t think I’ve ever watched a drama with so much heart.

I really don’t get the hate on her? She seems so fun, energetic and professional. Not to mention she has so much chemistry with whoever she’s with. I swear, she had more chemistry with Dilraba than Leo did in the Long Ballad.

We will hold hands virtually and get through this.

I know this makes absolutely no sense but because of their amazing chemistry, I got a little sad when I saw Chen Zheyuan’s upcoming dramas with other actresses, LOL! I know I will feel differently after a new ZLS (aka Chemistry Queen) drama comes out but as of now, I’m gloomy and can’t get over this beautiful drama.

I agree with you. Although it wasn’t romantic, she definitely had a place in his heart. She was the first person to offer him help without him asking and she always managed to bring a smile to his face. It might not be romantic but the shared history is what made their love so beautiful.

YES! I NEVER like modern cdrama but Hidden Love is definitely my favorite drama of all times.

TOTALLY AGREE! I love how she handled JY! I was actually so anxious to see if there’s going to be another crazy encounter - glad she was so calm about it and at the same time talk some sense into JY. That RESTRAINING order was so satisfying! Both of them have each other’s back.
