Hi, thanks for the comment! I was actually dreading the comment section and was surprised that some had the same reaction. I decided to watch this drama because it’s by the same author as Hidden Love and the ratings is the same as Nirvana in Fire. HL was a simple story but the chemistry really elevated it so I thought maybe this drama also had the right formula to make something simple into something magical.

Just wanted to put my honest review out there!

Yes! I often tell my daughter to NEVER get so caught up in a boy that you lose self respect for yourself!

Did you watch Hidden Love? Same author but the FL is well written.

I enjoy a bubbly female lead! I’m just not too into this one because it seems like she a stalker and won’t leave the ML alone. Like when she asked his bff to put him in her club instead of the one he wanted - this is just too much. She also seem so clingy and they’re not even dating yet.

That’s why I enjoyed Hidden Love. Although Sang Zhi had a huge crush on DJX, she never chased him around and had enough self respect to cut ties when she thought he had a gf. I really don’t like stalker, clingy FL that won’t take no for an answer. Recently there’s been so many of them, is that the new thing??

Tbh I’m trying really hard because I wanted to see what’s the fuss. This show got such high ratings! I can’t stand FL like that.

You mean she’s like that the throughout the whole drama? Noway. It was also weird when she’s so perky and cutesy 90% of the time and then turn badass when something happens. Like her whole demeanor changes.

I watched and dropped a few of his shows and was not a fan so I was disappointed he was cast for this show. Now he’s like the hottest man alive.

Was going to watch My Secret next but I want this whole Hidden Love thing to die down first lol. I can’t watch him with someone else just yet.

When I said cdramas were cringy I meant modern cdramas. I think generally speaking costume dramas are made better and modern is neglected.

It’s a beautiful, simple love story. A lot of ppl say the rating is high because of ZLS but ZLS also have dramas that were not rated high.
