I made a post on your feed showing what your main page looks like from my end. Is there some way to add thumbnails for the 6 missing episodes and put the thumbnails in order from 1-24? I'm not familiar with how that site works, so I don't know how it would be done.
I really appreciate your efforts here, and would love if others could also enjoy.

This is pretty low-key for romance, though .... right now it's not interfering much with the story line. And if we're being serious, there's going to be at least some romance in life.... it's a natural part of the human existence.
As long as they keep it focused on "fighting for my person of interest" I don't care if it's romantic or platonic.
Just hope they don't get too "ooey-gooey" with the plot.

They really need a different name for this kind of thing. It really doesn't seem to fit the definition of xuanhuan.

Saw somewhere a description of it as "new-age" wuxia .... but I've also seen it described as "high wuxia" i.e. wuxia with some elements of xianxia.

I could totally see him becoming emperor in the end, just for the h*ll of it, then giving it all up to retire into relative obscurity.

It's a huge cast with many, many actors representing the best of the various generations.... part of what is making this a really good watch.
And yeah, no real expectation of a season 2 with this.

Just finished 12-14, and I admit I'm still enjoying the plot. The action slowed down a bit in the last two episodes, and we're seeing more development of the intrigue aspects of the plot, but it's keeping the overall dramatic tension alive. Romantic aspects of the plot are also coming to the fore, but in a relatively muted way. Things look set to escalate to another major turning point in the the next few episodes.
My favorite character of this set of episodes has to be Sikong Changfeng, the Xueyue City Lord. He's just an all-round cool elder figure - smart, cool under pressure, and empathetic. The actor portraying this role, He Zhong Hua, is doing an excellent job. He's appearing in several dramas that are on my TBW list, and I'm happy to see more of him.
