I was quite shocked when I realized her gender revelation will be in ep 37-38. That's really far away and so near the end 😱 the poster is a bit blurry, but seems like she will be crowned "huzhou furen" on ep 39-40. So about 8 eps she enters the harem 🤔

Yes I understand. I just don't like when people are hating other couples or even a character just bcs they got screentime as if it's their fault 😥 Haishi still has the most that sometimes others don't appear in an ep. Their screentime is acceptable than RFY.

She didn't dress as Zizan to seduce the emperor. She failed to have the emperor send help for her homeland (she didn't know it's fake). So she tried another way which is dressed up as Zizan. She thought perhaps if she uses Zizan as in "Zhunian is also Zizan's homeland", the emperor would agree. Her plan didn't go well. From what I've seen Tilan actually doesn't want to get involved with the emperor. She wants to live in peace, and has been trying to avoid him, but the emperor just wouldn't leave her alone 🙄 She even tried to kill herself twice, but the emperor saved her.

Me too. I rarely watch ongoing drama, so I don't post comments every day 😂 perhaps I will do this again when two of Chen Yuqi's dramas air on youku and wetv 😂

What can we do? I heard the novel is short, only 24 chapters and it's divided into character's story, but it was made into a long drama. It wasn't enough so the writer had to create a lot of things to fill it 😥 they made a lot of changes to which makes it more interesting and makes us speculate on how it's gonna end.

I also can't wait for Haishi's gender revelation bcs I never like a FL shouting "shifu" every day, making her looks childish 🙄 but as viewers we can only patiently wait. Our anger won't change anything to the plot nor the ending. Hating on other couples won't help to. At least it's airing every day, it will end quick, believe me 👍🏻 let's just wait together.

I skipped Rebirth for You from 31-37 bcs it was full of trash 😂 the writer threw their brains to the trash bin. I regret watching it 🤦‍♀️

I don't watch many dramas, but I recommend: Love and Destiny, The Long Ballad, Singing All Along, and either The Love Lasts Two Minds or And The Winner is Love (I prefer the latter bcs of the chemistry and a lot of sweet moments despite the long misunderstandings). I also love both the original and remake of My Fair Princess/Princess Huan Zhu.

I watched a video speculating about Jichang wants to marry Haishi to kill Jianming, so Jianming begs the emperor to marry Haishi instead. If the emperor rapes Haishi too then he is indeed the lowest man! Anyway, it would be nice if they could talk about how to undo the baixi spell. That way FangShi cp can be happy 👍🏻

I don't want the emperor to consummate with Haishi 😭 let her first time for Jianming, the man she loves! 😭

Reading the comments, fans are so eager to see Haishi becomes the empress. Guys, chill. It's from a short novel being elongated for a drama. From the calendar it looks like her gender will be revealed on ep 37-38.

I don't know if any of you watched Female Prime Minister by Zhao Liying. Even though the english title is FPM, Zhao Liying's character became the prime minister at THE VERY LAST EP!!! All those 40+ eps are basically about her being a female officer dealing with endless schemes and a troop of love rivals 🤦‍♀️ and after the scene she became the prime minister, it ended 🤦‍♀️

Historical cdrama is always slow and long, I have learned to be patience, esp with the possibility of sad ending. If I can't handle it, I just jump to the final ep. So please just be patience instead of throwing anger bcs nothing will change to the plot/ending just bcs we riot 😭

This is chinese drama. They always have second and third couples to fill the story. Each couple has their own concept for romance fans. It will be boring if every drama only has love triangle. If you don't want second and third couples, or only the main couple get screentime, perhaps you better watch jdrama where only 1 couple exists and kdrama where love triangle always exists. Be patience. It's slow, but Haishi and Jianming relationship needs a foundation and background so we can understand why A became B. All 6 main characters are important. At least their characters aren't annoying and scheming like Rebirth For You where the second leads also took most of the screentime.

Fangshi, XuLan and ZhuoLiu? 😆 Should we name them ZhuoLiu or YingLiu? I like YingLiu better, easier to say.

Me too I enjoy their story the most. Unlike the first and third couples who are obviously love each other and they will fight for it, we don't know which way the second couple is heading. If after the gender revelation the emperor does fall for Haishi, then it will be the usual love triangle where none wants to withdraw. I'm more curious to see if the emperor really falls for Tilan and changes to be a better human. We know the story of FangShi cp, but we don't know if the writer changed the story for XuLan cp 🤔

Watched the teasers up to ep 32. Man oh man it's madness!

Oh I didn't know that the emperor could let go of his concubines. Perhaps bcs concubines weren't legally married, just a title 🤔 but letting go of an empress? I know empress could be dethroned, disposed, or replaced. If Haishi is a concubine, then it would be easier for her to go with Jianming 🤔 if she's the empress, or even a regent.... the only way is to "kill" her.

At that time the emperor was still a dumb bcs he hasn't met Tilan so he just said nonsense 😂😂😂 of course he still wants Jianming to get married. Let's hope after everything is done he will return Haishi. but seeing the video you gave, Haishi will have a wedding with the emperor?? Why did she have it, but Tilan doesn't? 🤔 from what I know, concubines didn't have wedding ceremony, only the first legitimate wife.

The sub is kinda messy, but seems like Jichang wants to kill Jianming. So to protect Haishi, Jianming begs the emperor to take Haishi as concubine so she can't be touched. Meaning Jichang can't fight her or Haishi won't get involved and recklessly fight Jichang.

If it can be lifted then perhaps Jianming will beg the emperor to undo the spell and to return Haishi to him 🤔

I saw the scene where the emperor gave a seal to Haishi. I believe it's the empress seal and perhaps the emperor gives special rule that Haishi is allowed to attend the court. So another speculation is that scene is actually the grand entrance of Haishi attending the court for the first time, not as the regent (giving myself a hope for a happy ending 😂)

I want to believe in Yang Mi that we will get sweet at the end 🙏 hopefully all three couples survive and they all have happy endings.
