The chemistry is good, the kisses are good, the romance is good. ML is so whipped for FL. The duration is too long and the story drags a lot.

My complains:
1. ML often wears shorts..
2. Her dad caught his wife having sex with other man, yet he didn't divorce her is outrageous! Instead he kicked FL out of the family registry?

This drama has 3 parts, and somehow I got bored so I skipped part 2 and 3. Part 1 was good, but I dislike the ML's character in part 2. I feel like the actor doesn't suit the nerd teenage character. He looks awkward. Sadly I won't watch the sequel.

Actually I didn't have plan to watch this, but i have watched 3 of Zhang Wanyi's drama, so I thought of giving it a try. So far I have no problem with the pace and plot. It is slow, but it's fine for me.

Women in ancient era really had difficult life. Men can make or break them. The father here is so narrow minded, blind and biased. Although he does listen to his mother and can be convinced.

Btw it was cute to see Nine in historical drama 😆 and Wu Yuheng as the sixth uncle.

I'm watching this bcos I read the novel epilogue and became interested with her friends getting their own husbands. I want to see this 2 love lines.

I'm now on ep 14 and what annoys me the most is Lu Chang's attitude. He was the one who avoided her, ignored her, misjudged her, didn't want to spend time to know her, rejected her and felt relieved when she canceled the marriage. Now seeing she likes another man, he feels jealous, agitated, angry, etc. He bullies Qingzhao to vent his jealousy. What right does he have? He rejected her for years! Oh yes I know it was due to her dad grooming him, but does it mean the daughter is also scheming? Lu Chang doesn't deserve Mingshu. He had wasted her. Just like the man who deceived Shujun, wasted a good and devoted girl.

My other problem: Lu Chang doesn't have the elegance of a scholar. Scholars are known to be elegant and graceful even if they come from humble families. Perhaps due to his aloof personality?

No, it is bcos I read the novel 3 times so I understand her more. Dou Zhao is like the ideal woman. Rather than Dou Zhao, I prefer Bu Yinlou (UL), bcos she is super lazy, wants to do nothing and only cares about herself.
