Thanks! Wasn't completely sure what was happening cause it seemed like she was crying for him, but at the same time it had this out-of-world effect on that scene, so could have been a dream(?) and no actual scene of him dying. Will have to rewatch and listen carefully ?

But that doesn't explain the bloody dagger that LCG gifted to her uncle.

I also wonder if there is something else going on.
First, they didn't directly show that he killed her mom. Everything was implied,like him coming out of her mom's room, the LCG finding her mom dead and the dagger CG gifted him bloodied.
Second, in one of the scene after LYY was kidnapped, LSM said something along the lines of "I have just lost LCG, do I have to lose LYY too?" Almost seemed like he was implying that he thinks of LCG as a daughter.

Just saw the previews for ep 15-16. Does A'Dou die or get hurt in the manga during the war between LCG & Ashilei Sun, when LCG is guarding the city of... Zhangzhou (I think?)

This drama is amazing. Especially if you’re into mystery solving shows! Just wish someone would sub this drama so that more people are able to watch it.
