I watched the first two episodes and then put the drama on hold for a few days. Now I’m debating whether I should give it another chance or simply drop it.

For those who have already completed it, would you say it’s worth continuing? The first two episodes didn’t fully capture my interest, but I’m still open to being pleasantly surprised. ✨

Title Sweet Home
I don’t usually watch horrors because one suspicious shadow and I’m already reconsidering all my life choices.

But at the same time… I really want to watch this one because seeing the MLs in such completely different, darker characters sounds way too tempting to ignore.

So the real question is: will I survive this drama, or will I end up watching half of it through my fingers, with the lights on and my soul leaving my body every five minutes?

I was looking forward to watching something old-fashioned, heart-warming, full of friendship, and genuinely catchy, and now here I am on episode 12, enjoying it from the very beginning. It’s actually the oldest drama I’ve watched so far, but somehow that makes it even more charming.

I started watching this show right in the middle of my final year at uni, and honestly, it brought me so much joy that I didn’t even care when the newest episodes weren’t translated into English yet. I was just happily watching, vibes first, subtitles second.

Then my degree assignments came for my neck, and I had to pause around episode 7. Now I’m finally back, rewatching from the exact episode where uni forced me to drop it, and somehow I’m enjoying it even more this time.

This show really said: “You may leave because of deadlines, but you will come back emotionally attached.”

I was genuinely counting down the days for this drama because seeing Lee Jae Wook, Shin Ye Eun, and Hong Min Gi together on screen sounded like a treat already. The storyline also looked intriguing enough to make me hopeful.

That being said, after watching ep 1, I have to admit my expectations dropped a little. It wasn’t bad, but it also didn’t give me that instant “this is going to be a 10/10” feeling. The setup has potential, but so far it feels like the drama still needs to find its emotional punch and stronger rhythm.

I really hope I’m wrong, because the cast is too good for this to end up being just “okay.” I’m still curious enough to continue, but ep 1 definitely made me cautious rather than fully convinced.

Recently, I couldn’t find a kdrama powerful enough to fully steal my attention, so here I am…
Back to this masterpiece.

I just finished re-watching it again. Yes, for the 5th time and somehow it still hits like the very first watch. At this point, I’m not even rewatching anymore. I’m simply renewing my membership to this masterpiece.

Season 2 is finally around the corner! Consider me seated, fully invested and ready to make this drama my entire focus all over again.

One of the cutest female and male lead pairings I’ve seen in a K-drama lately. Their chemistry is so good that it actually makes me wait for the next episode without even touching the speed-up button. That’s how you know it’s serious.

Honestly, yes! Nothing makes dramas more emotional than watching them while your assignments are also attacking…
We’re all here like: “I should be revising… but also, episode 4 is calling my name.”

I’m really enjoying seeing Im Ji Yeon take on a completely different character in this drama, especially compared to her role in The Glory. It’s refreshing to see her show another side of her acting range.

I also remembered Heo Nam Jun from When the Phone Rings, and honestly, I’ve been waiting for him to land an ML role ever since. Overall, I was hoping this drama would bring fresh vibes with a high-quality standard, and so far, it has not disappointed me at all.

dramas during exam season always hits harder
Honestly, yes! Nothing makes dramas more emotional than watching them while your assignments are also attacking you. I finally submitted my last BSc Computer Science and Engineering assignment, so I am free… emotionally exhausted, but free. 🤓

Giving criticisms is not allowed now for a drama?? for FICTION? Okay.
Nobody said criticism isn’t allowed. It’s a forum, so of course, people can share different opinions. I just personally feel like some comments are less about constructive criticism and more about acting like the drama personally betrayed them. We can criticise it, but we can also enjoy and defend it.

Reading people complain that they’re still watching a drama they don’t even like is hilarious. The exit button is literally right there, but okay, let’s blame the plot.

Their reaction after tasting Kang Seong Jae’s food was absolutely hilarious. The way they instantly switched into full foodie mode reminded me so much of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty! Same chaotic energy, same over-the-top expressions, and I enjoyed every second of eps 1 and 2.

I could sense from the start that the Queen Mother had a crush on Grand Prince Yi An. She was forced to marry his brother, but Ep 10 finally confirmed the truth her eyes had been screaming all along.

I’m on the last episode and honestly scared to watch it after reading some of the comments here. I’ve really enjoyed this kdrama so far, and now I’m worried the ending might ruin it for me.
